In a typical house in the historic center, two minutes from the lake, attic with two / three beds.
Room with queen size double bed (160 x 200 cm), bedroom with single bed (80 x 200 cm), lounge, kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with shower, small private porch. Third floor without elevator (five short flights of stairs).
The accommodation is in the pedestrian area. Municipal parking at about 100m (hourly rate CHF 0.60 per hour; weekly card CHF 28.-)
Not suitable for children because the windows are low.
In the vicinity, lake, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, beach, boat, boat yards, moorings for boats, miniature golf, walks, golf, tennis, hairdresser, pharmacy, doctor, shops, train, Monte Lema cable car. Ideal apartment in old-town Caslano

This was an ideal place to stay in many ways. The old-town is quiet, with no vehicular through-traffic, right on Lake Lugano and adjacent to Mount Caslano, a nature preserve. It is a five-minute walk to a grocery store and health-food store, and another seven minutes to a second grocery store and the FLP train station which connects Ponte Tresa, on the Italian border, and Lugano, 23 minutes away. The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is just as described, with everything functional.
