We stayed for a week and it was overall a great experience. We did have some issues but nothing major.
We couldn’t get the propane fire table to stay lit even on a calm day so we gave up on it. Unfortunate, because we like to have fires and there is no fire pit.
There’s is no cell service here, maybe a single bar in certain spots if you’re lucky and patient enough. This makes it difficult to communicate with the greeter. Which brings me to the next caveat.
The view in the last pictures in the ad at the time of reviewing (the ones right down by the water) are NOT taken on the property and as far as we found, there is no access to the water. This property does have a slight view, but very hard to see anything due to trees and other properties.
The dogs next door enjoy barking at seemingly anything that moves, which did bother us while enjoying time outdoor on the beautiful wrap around deck. This made it bothersome when letting our dog outside as well.
We found the gates for the deck are too short for bigger dogs so we didn’t use them as our dog would have easily jumped over them. Bring your own lengthy leash as well.
We would have also appreciated a little more privacy when using the hot tub. We found the one wall facing the rear of the property hardly helped anything at all and probably would have preferred it facing the neighbours property on the side with the steps.
The kitchen features lots of counter top space. Great if you enjoy cooking like we do. There seemed to be a lack of pans and an overwhelming number of pots.
The bed was very comfortable, although there is no tv in the master bedroom (while there is one in the other bedroom).
The bathroom is very comfortable, with a large shower and heated floors. The bidet (toilet) was a new experience for us haha.
