View was nice. Bed was dirty. Bathtub was covered in hair. Train was 20 feet from the balcony. Night staff was nice. Cleaning lady was rude. No sound proofing. Could hear every step the people above us took between 5:00 am and 6:30am.

We will not ever stay here again! False advertising….get this.. the website shows a pool and restaurant and it’s not even in the same building! It’s a 10 minute walk away! The room was tiny…not even enough room to use the luggage rack, no chairs…we could only sit on the bed. There were 4 stairs inside our room we had to haul our suitcases up! Terrible experience, we are extremely disillusioned with Expedia.

I’ve known this property ever since it was called The Viking. I’ve never had a problem during all my stays there. I admit the trains that occasionally pass by in the night can be a problem but everyone in Nelson gets to hear the trains so there’s no escaping them.
