Les points forts : Personnel et service et confort de la chambre
Igor the owner is a very friendly person that will try to make you as comfortable as possible within his possibilities. He has tried to update somehow an old home in the very heart of the city.
You do get your moneyâs worth
We booked 2 large and charming king sized bedrooms for the 3 of us (adults), & both rooms had private bathrooms. The baths were updated in space, with plenty of hot water & fabulous water pressure. However (typical to traditional B&B's) they were not ensuite & had no A/C; which would have been welcomed in the unusual June heat. The bedrooms though, were equipped with new model A/C units for the win! Igor welcomed us upon arrival with water and treats and shared a bit of his family history - this gem was his grandfather's childhood home - His recommendation for dinner at Il Commercial around the block was a hit, as well as the walk over to Etnea to explore the main part of beautiful Catania. We sure got our steps in, so wear sneakers for sure. We loved stumbling on museums, city squares, markets, eateries and even an international dance competition.
Can't wait to return to Catania & will definitely stay here again - location is great & Igor is the most informative and attentive host - take all his recommendations, especially places to eat!
Property is clean, authentic and a little slice of Sicily - it was a very special experience to stay here âșïž
Unique property off the beaten tourist path. Spacious and yet well appointed. Host was gracious and exceptionally helpful. Wonderful local restarant around the corner
The place itself was amazing- very formal and ornate, with lots of art and family pictures on the walls. Very clean, snacks readily available and the place designated for our breakfast was close by and very friendly.
Our host Igor was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He had a cake waiting for us upon our arrival, and gave us gifts for travelling when we left.
Our host was very welcoming and helpful. He had snacks there for us and lots of food for us to eat whoever we wanted. Rooms were amazing and the whole place was very decorative and interesting, with pictures of his family on the wall. Each room has its own bathroom
We had coffee and a croissant for breakfast from a cafe next door which were delicious.
He gave us a package of pastries to take with us.
