The house was really nice, but location not ideal. There is no beach (sand), no taxis and no convenient places to eat. For our group of 5 it was very hard to get from the split to the house. If you want a sandy beach to swim you have to travel by bike and pay to use the beach. The explanation of the home is confusing, itâs not great for a family of 5. There are multiple units which do not have access without going out and walking around to the exterior doors. Itâs not all one big house. If you stay there be prepared to be remote.
My group of girlfriends and I stayed at the Island Pearl and loved it. Talk about views, every room has one! the common space on the second floor was where we spent most of our time together and then because we had all 3 apartments, everyone was able to retreat to their own spacious private rooms. Our favorite part of the home was the pool which we used every day. It had great views and beach chairs.
This north side of the split property is private and peaceful. You do have to put some effort into getting around due to that, but once we figured out transportation all was great. The bikes at this property were a must, it made it so much easier to get to the split to take the ferry. In off season you pretty much have to go south of the split for food and other services.
we may suggest providing a book of local info, especially what may be open during off season
