Welcome to this charming mountain bungalow in Cedar Mountain, NC - a cozy and romantic retreat tucked away in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just 11 minutes from Pretty Place, this home is an especially wonderful choice for couples celebrating their wedding weekend, guests attending a ceremony at this breathtaking mountaintop venue, or anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway. Recently updated and tastefully decorated, this inviting home is also just minutes from DuPont State Recreational Forest and about 15 minutes from downtown Brevard, making it an ideal home base for hiking, waterfalls, biking, dining, and exploring Western North Carolina.
The main entrance welcomes you into the open great room, where the living room, kitchen, and dining areas come together beneath a beautiful cathedral ceiling. Comfortable seating creates a cozy place to unwind after a day of exploring or celebrating, while the kitchen is equipped with new appliances and the essentials you ll need during your stay. A washer and dryer and good WiFi add convenience for longer stays.
The primary bedroom is located just off the main living area and features a queen-sized bed and private bathroom with a tub and shower. The second bedroom is five steps down from the living room and features two queen-sized beds, making it a great option for friends, family, or wedding guests traveling together. A second bathroom is located just steps from the bedroom door, giving this room the feel of a second primary suite.

Fall Break Getaway

The place was perfect for us (myself, my wife and our 10 year old daughter and her best friend, our 2 year old Boaxador (maybe). We hiked and ate out in Brevard and also had a great lunch at the Cedar Mountain Cafe. Highly Recommend the place.

Last minute getaway

Friends told us about the Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest. Decided to take a last minute trip and go on a couple of hikes. Was glad we found this cabin. It was close to both forest yet in a quiet and private area. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Would stay again.

Quiet location in the Woods

This property is close enough to everything (Dupont, Ceasar's Head, Brevard, etc), but far enough away that you have silence at the cottage. No traffic noise or dogs barking if you need a quiet place to stay. The property was equipped with everything needed and the check-in/out procedures were clear and simple. Very clean.

Great stay!

We had a great stay! The property was clean and had more than enough room. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing a nice meal. The porches provided quiet retreat surrounded by trees. Thank you for making is so comfortable! We will definitely look at staying here again when we return to the area.
