The views are absolutely incredible and one of the biggest highlights of this apartment. Being at the top of the building provides stunning panoramic views, but be prepared for quite a few flights of stairs to reach it.
The location is excellent, right in the city center. However, this does mean you'll likely need to park outside the main square and walk, or arrange transportation with a taxi that has permission to enter the restricted area.
The apartment itself is clean, charming, and well-maintained. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, but they are comfortable and functional. One thing we especially appreciated was the excellent water pressure and consistent hot water, which isn't always guaranteed in Italy. The air conditioning also worked very well, which was a huge plus during the hot weather.
There were a few areas where the experience could be improved. The apartment was stocked with only a very limited amount of toilet paper and did not include paper towels, coffee, or some of the basic amenities commonly provided in vacation rentals.
Communication was generally good, although at times the host seemed somewhat stressed or impatient. During check-in, we were asked to provide an arrival time based on our drive from another town. Once we arrived, we still needed to find parking and arrange transportation to the apartment, and the host's messages made it seem as though our slight delay was causing frustration.
