Bren was very welcoming and attentive! Checked on us and updated with local weather advisories to help our stay go smoothly. Cabin is just as described and perfect for us while we were in town visiting family. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

The cabin felt very welcoming with a few lights on when we arrived. Loved the view. Enjoyed watching the lake from the inside when it was windy and cold outside. Watched the moon light and sun light dance on the water. We caught 3 yellow perch, 3 bluegills, 3 cat fish, 1 carp. There was a group of pelicans and more water fowl. Great place to unwind! Wished I could go back. Thank you.

The cabin was perfect. The cabin was clean and well stocked. View is excellent. Easy to see the sunrise and sunset. Towels, kitchen supplies, decor, etc. all looked newer. Host had great communication. Was friendly, and easy to work with. Would book again.

Super cute cottage experience. Very cozy, clean and comfortable rooms. Love the cottage feel and design. Morning coffee with lake views was peak relaxation. Fishing off the pier was a nice extra. Kitchen was very well stocked. Communication was great along with a great recommendation for dinner. Only wish we could have stayed an extra day or two!

This cozy 100 year-old cottage was the perfect getaway! It’s beautifully maintained, with a stunning sunrise view in the morning and the most relaxing lake view at sunset. Came for my husband’s birthday. He was able to catch a few fish, which was the goal. We very much enjoyed the peace of the water and a nightly fire, which we can’t do at our home. The lake is so large, we felt like we were at the ocean. Pelicans in Ohio!?!?! They were fun to see. Also had a few bald eagle sightings. I let the typewriter get some fresh air and spent some time in writer’s retreat. The cabin was perfect. The host couldn’t have made the experience any better—it was a delightful time! Thank you!

Everything was great, we were at Eldora Speedway most of the time but the cabin was clean and cozy! For us it was way better than staying in a motel room like we did the previous year. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. We will most likely be back next year.

We were looking for a relaxing getaway and this place was perfect! The house was small and cozy but you didn’t feel cramped. Despite the very few “quirks” of a 104 year old house, it was wonderfully updated and comfortable, as well as, nicely decorated and very clean. Bren had the house stocked with everything you would need to keep occupied including books, games, puzzles, etc. The back deck/dock was absolutely perfect and the views were amazing! The weather was perfect for our stay so the house was comfortable the entire time. Bren was an attentive host and left us cookies upon our arrival as well as coffee and creamer for us to enjoy. She even left a “cookie” for our dachshund, Roxie. We will definitely return

Absolutely perfect for my wife and I. We wanted a waterfront spot to be able to relax and reset from our busy life. We were able to do just that. We sat on the back deck next to the fire pit for HOURS just enjoying the view together.The house was an older house but very much clean and tidy. The house was very stocked for many things in the kitchen to use for cooking, this was a plus for us as we decided to cook there and eat with our own waterfront dining.We very much enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be returning. Bren was a great host and was very much available for any and all questions! We honestly didn’t know just how good this place was going to be until we got there. Love love loved it!

Our stay at Al's place was perfect.The property was clean and had everything you would need and some. Location was great for dining,but you could certainly stay and enjoy meals there. Having breakfast and coffee on the deck was heavenly! The property again has everything and you feel like your at home!
