We had 12 friends stay for our 42nd Annual Summer Girls Weekendâand we had an amazing time! The house was beautiful and spacious, perfect for relaxing and catching up. We visited a nearby winery and found several golf courses in the area.Just a heads-up: while bars and restaurants are nearby, I wouldnât recommend walking, as the road is quite busyâbut itâs a very short drive.A couple of tips: bring lawn chairs for outside seating, and be ready to use your remote skillsâthe TVs can be a bit tricky at first.Overall, a wonderful stay and a memorable weekend!
Our extended family of 12 had plenty of space at this beautiful house. The inside of the house was great and we had plenty of space to spread out or be together. Since the outdoor space was next to a wooded area, we found ourselves having to clean the area before we were comfortable enjoying it.We liked the lake and explored both South Center Lake and North Center Lake. We rented a pontoon from St. Croix Dock and Marine and they delivered the boat to the public launch on South Center Lake. The house is located near some very quaint small towns.
We stayed at the house for 8 days with a very large family gathering. Everyone was so impressed with the house and all the room we had to spread out. Rain or shine, you could sit outside and enjoy the peace and tranquility. The lake was so amazing as well. We caught so many fish and it really didn't matter how you fished, they were just there waiting for a snack. I think our only suggestion would be to get one or two more trash cans and make sure the guests know when trash pickup is. Again, we had a large group so the garbage piled up pretty quickly. Neighbors were great and very friendly. Will certainly book this house again in the future. Check out Nordic Harbor if you need a boat or want to listen to some live music at their rooftop bar. It is right around the corner from the house.
Our group of 8 had such a wonderful time at this lovely home in Center City! It was a short drive from home at just an hour and the home was well appointed and just as described/pictured. Everyone was able to have their own space and we really enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and the fun lower level pool table. Even though our stay was in March, we were able to sit on the screen porch the afternoon/evening we arrived because it was 70 degrees! We had a fun time visiting boutique shops, an antique shop, brewery, and a fun bar/restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful weekend in your beautiful lake home!
This is a very beautiful home. With 5 bedrooms was great in providing a retreat for my family while attending a local wedding .
Enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit area, grilling, pool table and some ping pong. Has a nice dock with clean area of water around dock. You need your own life jackets .
Newer built property with the bunk bedroom having the electrical breaker trip when trying to use the fan switch. Also tripped the breaker using the microwave once. Was used often, only tripped once.
No hair dryers as reported but local store not far away. Easily talked with host who was surprised that there was not one at least in the master bath. Grocery store also very close.
One recommendation would be to have a screen or partition to pull in front if the fireplace that is a full view into the master bedroom from the main living room .
Did have some spices and oils supplied for cooking. Coffee was also stocked along with espresso machine.
The house was wonderful, very clean, quality furnishings in all rooms! Easily accommodated multiple families with room for everyone. Easy check in- overall awesome stay!
This house worked great for our family to get together over the holiday weekend. The kids loved the bunk room with the big tv and we used all the gaming tables. Really appreciated the the extra towels and house layout. Nice beds and bedding. Kitchen is great for cooking. Extra stove top burners and large fridge with xl ice maker that kept up with our group. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the memories!!
