Hotel needs updating. Unfortunately, this place wasn’t for me and I checked out without staying the night after saw my room. Based on the name, I thought it would be a luxury type of hotel but it wasn’t what I expected. The outside grounds and lobby were nice, but I was very disappointed with the room, which was tidy but felt very dated and didn’t smell fresh and just didn’t generate that excitement when you first enter a hotel and feel you made the right choice. I haven’t been on vacation in a while and just needed more of a luxury feel in the room, since we’d be there for 4 nights. Note my 17yr old son didn’t think there was anything wrong with the room. In retrospect, based on the price, I should have set my expectations lower. There was also trash on the floor outside our room. The staff was very nice and asked if there was anything they could do. If you have discerning tastes, I’d look elsewhere.

This was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed! The staff was so nice, everyone that I met was helpful and kind. The property is a little outdated but the rooms are super cute and all the public areas are kept really clean so I didn’t even care about the exterior stuff. The water park was awesome! It was pretty crowded one day but still never had a problem getting a tube for the lazy river. Lots of kids and families, but still was really fun for adults. The grounds are huge, but there are golf carts everywhere with staff to take you between destinations. They kept stopping to ask if I needed one which I thought was nice. Azul at the front desk at check in was the nicest ever. A really great experience overall!

There is only one word that can best describe our stay- FUN!!!! I arrived early and was checked in and given our wristbands to go to the water park. The water park was the best part of our stay. Everything from the pools to the waterpark. The rooms were completely to my satisfaction. The ice machines seem to be out or low alot but everyone was filling coolers and it's 115 degrees out so i wouldn't expect anything different. We're 53 years old and had the best time ever and will be back.

I know that hotels and restaurants have exponentially raised their prices since Covid and inflation but never reduced the prices now that things are back to normal. However, it's ridiculous how expensive poor quality food is. To pay $22 for a microwaved burger that is dry is robbery. The water park doesn't allow outside food and drink to force you to have to spend exorbitant prices on their terrible food. My son has dietary needs and couldn't eat the park food so we had to leave the park numerous times to feed him. To pay $105 for lunch before tax and tip is crazy..
