Relaxing stay with lovely views

We had a great time, the property was well presented with fantastic views. The pool was lovely and relaxing - we hadn't realised it was shared, but this wasn't a problem. It's well located with plenty to do in the surrounding area. One of the bedrooms is in a mezzanine area overlooking the dining room - we hadn't been expecting this but it worked for our family.. There was a problem with drainage from the bathroom, but the caretaker sorted this out very quickly. Overall it was a really good place to stay.

Séjour à Cessenon !

Séjour exceptionnel. Tout y était !!! Le gîte est très confortable et accueillant. Le site et la vue sur la vallée de l'Orb tout simplement extraordinaires. On reviendra c'est sûr !

Très bel endroit avec logement très bien équipé. Le gardien est aux petits soins pour les locataires

Endroit idéal en pleine campagne surplombant l'Orb au beau mimieu d'un domaine entouré d'oliviers. A 10 mn du village de cessenon Nous avons profité de la piscine et du côté paisible du gîte et sommes allés nous baigner dans différentes plages de l'Orn (roquebrun, Réals, cessenon...), avons profité des différents marchés des villages environnents sommes allés nous "défouleré à la fête de cessenon. De nombreuses animations et concours de pétanque aux alentours. JE RECOMMANDE

Prachtig huis met fantastische ligging

Het huis was ruim met veel faciliteiten. Het zwembad erbij was prachtig gelegen evenals het uitzicht wat spectaculair was. Het huisje had iets schoner gekund, maar het verdere verblijf was zo prachtig en de vriendelijke gastheer ter plaatse was zeer behulpzaam en alle aanwezige zaken waren handig en praktisch dat wij het iedereen kunnen aanraden!

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons tous trouvé le gîte très agréable, charmant et très très bien équipé. La vue du site, perché en haut d'une colline, est vraiment jolie, et les propriétaires très réactifs lorsque nous avons eu une question. Seul bémol : le gîte est mitoyen à un autre gîte. Donc on est moins isolé que prévu. Ce n'est pas si gênant que ça, sauf quand l'objectif du séjour diffère. Lors de notre séjour, les occupants du gîte mitoyen ont fait la fête (bien arrosée) samedi soir tandis que nous, nous nous écroulions après une journée intense de rando. Malgré tout, ils ont été corrects et ont cessé tout bruit à partir de 23h30. C'est le seul point négatif que je vois à ce gîte à tout point idéal.

Une vue magnifique, un bel espace habitable

Nous remercions la précédente personne qui a fait un commentaire mi figues mi raisin sur la location... notre surprise n'a été que plus agréable. En effet, pas de problème d'accessibilité, la montée a été recouverte de béton et le reste se fait très bien à basse allure L'aménagement intérieur est très bien fait : c'est qualitatif. Concernant la terrasse, cela ne représente évidemment pas un problème de ne pas pouvoir sortir pieds nus dehors de toute façon il y a des aiguilles de pin qui apporte une ombre essentielle à la terrasse. Par contre, la vue de la terrasse est absolument "époustouflante", la location est entourée par des oliviers en pleine nature. Les propriétaires et le gardiens sont d'une grande gentillesse et nous avons même pu goûter le vin du domaine. Donc nous recommandons et nous y reviendrons!

Appréciation

Le gite est globalement bien équipé (même si nous n’avons pas trouvé de passoire ni de tire-bouchon et que nombre de tasses sont ébréchées). Il souffre d’un manque d’intimité à l’intérieur (avec 2 chambres ouvertes en mezzanine) et à l’extérieur (l’ancien bâtiment a été coupé en trois -difficile d'échapper aux conversations de terrasse...). Les extérieurs ne sont pas aménagés au sens où il ne sera pas possible de sortir pieds nus (les photos le laissaient entrevoir). Le manque d’eau a certainement été à l’origine des odeurs nauséabondes remontant des pièces d’eau. La procédure d’accueil est minimaliste. Idem pour le départ. Par exemple, nous avons trouvé de la vaisselle dans le lave-vaisselle en arrivant et globalement avons relavé la vaisselle dont nous allions faire usage. Surtout les indications concernant la qualité du revêtement des chemins mériteraient d’être apportées. Il est ainsi fortement déconseillé de se rendre au gité avec des vélos sur remorque. L’essieu de la remorque étant moins large que les sillons voiture, les tremblements liés à la mauvaise qualité du chemin vicinale abiment les vélos (et si vous ne venez pas en VTT, il ne faut pas espérer utiliser les vélos à partir du gite). Il faudrait aussi prévenir d’importer de l’anti-moustique. D’un autre côté nous avons quitté le gite le mercredi midi (réservé jusqu’au samedi) sans vider le lave-vaisselle (qui n’avait pas fini son cycle) et en oubliant de nettoyer la plancha…

Lieu magnifique et très calme.

Lieu très bien, calme et une position dominante sur l'Orb et le village de Cessenon très beau. Juste un bémol, problème d'odeur au niveau des sanitaire, je pense que la ventilation est à revoir. Je pense également qu'un petit contrôle avant l'arrivée des clients pour contrôler le ménage, les appareils ménagers qui ne fonctionnent pas ... Sinon le gardien est très agréable et serviable
