The pilot light on the fireplace kept going out and we smelled gas. We contacted the host a little after 6am on Saturday January 31. The message from RedAwning was that they put the call in as urgent but were waiting for the technician to let them know when they could get out to look into the problem. We asked RedAwning several times for an ETA and they said they were waiting to hear back and would let us know immediately when the technician could come. As of 2pm on February 2 they have yet to let us know ("immediately") when the technician will arrive (answer: never). So, we went without using the fireplace for our entire three night stay with subzero temps outside. Plus, the condo is not well maintained and the furniture is old, sagging and very uncomfortable. There was one wine glass and one rocks glass and a few spoons. As former owners and renters of a Meadowridge condo at Seven Springs, we would have never rented our condo in such condition and Highland Resort Realty would have never allowed the condo to be in such poor condition. And most certainly maintenance would have been out within the hour to address the fireplace.
