My family and i enjoyed our weekend. We were disappointed the dock was under water. The views of the lake were beautiful and we had a really great time on the back porch. We would love to come again when we can hang out on the dock. Thank you for letting us stay!
I picked this house because of the dock and it didnât disappoint. We got to enjoy the sun and fish on the large area. We caught as many turtles as fish but the smooth as glass water was perfect for kayaking. It is secluded and the only neighbor we saw was very nice. Bring outdoor towels, hand towels, and laundry soap as there are none of those items at the house. We had an awesome time celebrating my sonâs birthday at this cute home. Itâs an older home but has been remodeled. The listing is accurate and we would stay again.
The owners are great in communicating. The property is clean and the view is great. Terrible weather, but the view was still good. Only problem was the swarming mosquitoes by the door facing the lake - when the wind wasn't blowing after the rain. There is plenty of space in this home, and the beds are very comfortable. We would have appreciated some hand towels and some towel racks. The hooks over the doors don't allow towels to dry. Even though this is 25 minutes from Tyler, it doesn't seem that long after the first trip. And Chandler has several things that might keep you from having to make the longer trip - including a new Brookshire's grocery store. Pretty convenient. All in all, a nice getaway for us old folks. It would have been a bit more comfortable for us with some better seating in the living room - a couple of chairs with some good support, but we're probably not the main type of guest expected here.
Clean and quiet location where you can appreciate the beauty of nature and catch some beautiful sunsets around the fire pit. Hosts are quick to respond to any questions and made every effort to insure we had a great and memorable weekend.
