First thing I noticed upon entering was all the cigarette butts around the trash can. Then, once I checked in I was told the elevator was broken so I had to use the stairs. Ok, that happens. Got to the room. Took a shower that evening to go out. The shower curtain bar had been ripped from the wall and poorly repaired. The bathroom sink faucet spills more water on the counter than it does in the sink. I had to wrap a towel around the faucet to keep my toiletries from getting wet. The next morning I went down for their breakfast. I was surprised to say the least. The breakfast is what they call a “Grab and Go breakfast” as they referred to it. It consisted of Hostess cup cakes and twinkies. I tried using the treadmill they had, but the belt was so loose it slowed on every step and was almost impossible to use. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
By far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Booked through Expedia, and sounds like the hotel dropped the ball and didn’t accept my reservation. The elevator was broken as well, which was in past interviews also. Breakfast is a Nutri-Grain bar and coffee. Avoid this hotel at all cost the reviews match it, and regret not listening and giving them a try. Take it from me.
While it’s about what you might expect at this price point… the listings online and descriptions are very very misleading. Kitchenette… sure but they have nothing you can use in it so plan to bring your own dishes. Complementary breakfast… a granola bar, awful coffee and twinkies are not quite what I’d imagine as “breakfast”. Maybe I need to manage my expectations.
Cleanliness…2 stars at most. While the room is not obviously dirty… look at the bottom of your socks. It’s pretty yucky. The halls all smell like BO, curry and weed. Doesn’t seem to come into the room which is great… Not a great welcoming combo.
Broken outlets, lights that don’t work, bathroom exhaust fan rattles. Faucet fixtures also broken.
Oh and hope you can do stairs as the Elevator is out of service… so along with your own dishes, don’t forget to bring a pack mule!
Elevator was broken and was told by other guests that it has been out of service over a week. Front Desk staff was nowhere to be seen when checking in!!
