I booked on June 15, 2022 and arrived on 6/27/22. The hot tub was empty so I sent communication and was told to fill it no problem. Well when I finally called to ask how to turn it on I was told âoh there was a miscommunication it went out last week please do not use itâ. Same for the clothes dryer, âoh it went out a few days ago, the entire inside drum of the dryer was gone and it looked like it had been that way for a while. The skylights in the restrooms leak. Lastly, on our return to the VRBO from being out on the 28th we discovered that the âcare takerâ of the house and her small child also stay there so itâs very awkward because you see them in a tiny room with a glass door so really itâs not a private stay. I reached out several times and was told they would consider some type of refund for the inconveniences we had. Out of a 3 night stay they refunded a total of 6% of the fee for the inconveniences. Donât get me wrong the house is nice but when you are booking and see the pictures and when you look for a property with laundry and you donât get it itâs very frustrating that they see that itâs only a 6% of a refund. We had a huge inconvenience that we had to go to a laundry mat to get our laundry done for our next destination. Iâve never had to confirm that everything is in working order but I guess now I will.
