The view of the golf course was beautiful with the surrounding palm trees. We were able to walk to local nature centers and the restaurants were amazing. Highly recommend going to Page’s Okra Grill in nearby Mt. Pleasant. Didn’t have a car but it was only a 25 minute walk if you don’t mind.

Customer service was not good . Called the front office because rm phonevwas not working and the channel button on tv remote was not working. I had to call front desk with my cell phone to ask about rm phone and tv remote at first I thought it was a dilect issue but realized she was just rude...she offered to give me another room since I was complaining and advised me that they did not have remove service to bring me another remote. My question to her was I paid $295 for a 1 night stay and you bothered that I asked questions about basic necessities that come with a room and then assumed that I was complaining . She offered another room I declined because I was here for an event for my daughter and we were already settled in. I was just expressing a concern and she was offended that I questioned 2 minor concerns but th en when she that room service wasnt available that I have to come get batteries for the remote that she didnt have another tv remote luckly channel button finally started work. I became offended when she just assumed that because of my concerns she thought that i was trying to get a refund because she thought I was not satisfied. She stated that sometime when people are not satisfied they are trying to get a refund not sure why she assumed that unless she is talking about certain types of people....just saying

Very good stay for an older couple. Overall I have stayed in worse places and payed more. Convenient to the Charleston and to the various attraction's outside of Charleston. Near to the interstates but far enough away that the interstate does not bother. The Ravenal bridge was only 5 minutes away as an example.

So glad that I booked this hotel it was so much cheaper than properties downtown and even in the Mount Pleasant area figured I wouldn't really be at the hotel too much cuz it's all about sightseeing. Saved so much money was a little worried that a lot of people said that it was a little older of a hotel but truthfully it was all that you need it was clean it had a breakfast and the location couldn't be beat for the amount of money I saved at this hotel I was able to rent a car and do so much more than I would have been for the same price downtown I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And the drive to get downtown is so incredibly simple. And staying in this location you had grocery stores and liquor stores and a whole bunch of food options very close definitely go to shems Creek

Comfort Inn & Suites Patriots Point is in a great location if you have a vehicle. The breakfast was filling and convenient. It was a typical southern continental breakfast. You are not missing out by staying in Patriots Point. There are many restaurants and bars a few blocks away and it's just a quick scenic drive to Charleston.

We were looking for a place near the Patriot Point and Vietnam experience and this place was the closest. We felt safe and we found some great restaurants near by. The beds were super comfortable and despite being by the elevator, we didn't hear any noise coming from the hallway.

Rude and Nasty

Do not stay here. Karinne, Carinne, or Kareen, whatever her name was, is blatantly rude and doesnt care. She rushed my mother through the credit card macine with hateful 'sign here, tap that, ect' without giving mom a chance to read. We shouldve left then but thought she may be having a bad day. Nope. Two days in, we found our room had been cleaned, but no towels or toilet tissue had been left for us. I called down front. After multiple rings, the phone was cut off. I called back and Carinne answered. When I told her we had no towels or toilet paper she said 'the rooms arent cleaned everyday'. I replied that I knew that but it had been cleaned that day, they just hadnt left towels or TP. Well, you can come to the front desk and get it, she said. 'I replied that I was up for knee surgery and was not able and my mom is 74 years old.' Carinne said 'Well, I cant leave the desk, theres no one else here.' First off, you run a hotel with one employees? Mom ended up going to get towels and TP. THE TOWEL WE RECEIVED WAS FILTHY. I hope I can add pictures. We called Customer support but nothing came of it. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Great place. Highly recommend for the price! Staff is great. Breakfast was top notch. Facilities and our room were very clean. Great bed. It’s a tiny bit dated but clean. I did not smell smoke in our room or anywhere on the property. Easy drive back across the water to College of Charleston and historic downtown, dining and shopping. Traveled with my teenage daughter and felt fully safe letting her walk around the hotel and go out to the car etc by herself.
