Our host was fabulous & responsive â we even arrived a bit early and they let us check-in which was so appreciated! The VRBO was a bit unkempt, there was fake nails on the ground and some misc. wrappers and trash as well. Not anything crazy, but it felt like maybe the host didnât clean in between guests. There also wasnât any body wash (not super important at all, but would have been nice to know!) Overall, highly recommend!
FROG as described private as detached. Blinds are easy to pull down & Push back up .Very good location for what I needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with what you need to cook appreciated the coffee. Thereâs a CVS in Publix right down the street. Walking path right there. Great parks boardwalk Barfield Park all over the island fun to explore! Check in check out was easy. A stacked laundry, washer dryer all types of TV channels easy to use. Thank you for sharing your place. The pool off of Pierce Street you can walk back to the marsh area and sit in chairs and watch nature. Itâs a beautiful area. Daniel Island is a beautiful place, friendly people & families. If you look carefully, you might find a little free library âtake a book, leave a bookâ by the park just around the corner or if you go over to the other pool area, thereâs also another little library. Have fun!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is located in one of the most beautiful locations you'll ever see. The building and property are wonderfully kept. Everything we wanted to see in Charleston was just a short drive away. Book with confidence. You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful above garage apartment. I do wish it had been disclosed on the listing that the apartment was above a garage and that the garage is currently in-use by the family who owns the main house, which is about 10 feet from the garage. We gave 4/5 stars because of this lack of disclosure as well as a constant and very large swarm of mosquitoes that were on you anytime you walked out the door, through the yard, and to your car. I am well aware that mosquitoes are bad in Charleston, but this was 20 mosquitoes attacking as soon as your feet hit the grass. Lastly, the apartment did have a displeasing musty smell. All of that being said, the neighborhood was extremely nice and very safe. We enjoyed all of the housesâ Halloween decorations. The apartment itself was clean and nice too.
We enjoyed our stay! The rain kept us from doing somethings we had planned! The room was nice and clean. The only thing missed was bathroom trash and a couple wash clothes to wash with! My 9 year old son enjoyed his bike rides around the neighborhood, and fell in love with the little black kitty that visited us on our porch everyday! We are animal lovers so we all happily enjoyed the visits!
Lovely stay, very clean, hosts were very nice & accommodating. We had everything we needed to cook full meals. It was also nice to have washer & dryer on site. AC was always cool as it was hot while there. We also always had parking right outside gate. Thks again Mollie, u r a wonderful host! Betty & Louie
Charming place to stay on a beautiful island community. Itâs close to Charleston, Mt Pleasant, the Isle of Plams, Sullivans island, just about anywhere. We enjoyed our stay!
This little apartment was so cute and charming. The neighborhood was so nice and family friendly. I loved that you can drive to the restaurants and just walk all around to shops and stadium. Was a great stay!
Apartment was immaculately clean and the bed and most furnishings appeared to be new and in excellent condition.Air conditioning was able to cool the space properly desoite extreme heat and humidity.Towels and linens furnished were in very good condition and clean. However there was no real eating space; two stools against a narrow shelf in the kitchen was not adequate. The sofabed appeared to be a little older although in good repair and in or der to turn off the light above it one had to either stand on it and stretch up(challenging for a short person or get out of bed and go to the switch by the door.A bedside lamp would have been helpful. Kitchen appliances were clean and new and in working condition. Washing machine was in proper working order, while the dryer needed intervention by host.
Nice little apartment on Daniel Island. Great for a family with kids because there are lots of activities within walking distance. Drive to Charleston isnt too bad and the neighborhood is really quiet.
Wife and I stayed two nights to sight see and attend a concert at Capitol one stadium. Perfect location, friendly hosts, and very clean comfortable apartment. Thanks!
As soon as we walked in the door and shut the door, put our bags down, and immediately the mosquitoes began eating us. There were multiple mosquitoes throughout the house some were dead on the floor, while others were dead on the countertops. Meanwhile, my daughter and I Got eaten alive by them. When we walked in, it was still pretty warm as though somebody had just been there shortly before and turned the air on. The mirrors were super dirty and dusty a friend of mine that is a realtor on the island brought over some cleaner to clean them. When she walked in with her daughter to help clean the mirrors, they started getting bit too. So we left. By the way, we looked at the bed which was pretty saggy and lumpy. I looked for coffee and found Folgers. I ended up having to make reservations at a local hotel on Daniel Island. I was not going to suffer in a very uncomfortable Airbnb.
Cute and quiet place to stay in a great area. No problems with check in and check out or throughout the stay. I loved our furry visitor that greeted us one morning.
