There is a unit above so you will hear people above. No vent or fans in one of the bathrooms so itâs very hot and humid. Unit needs hairdryers, glasses, washcloths, spoons, etc. Unit is nearly a mile from King St, so a little far to walk. Comfy beds.
We had a great time in Charleston. The house was as advertised and was in a great location to walk to King and Meeting Street. There are some great eateries within walking distance too. When we wanted to venture a little further away it was really easy to grab an Uber. House/neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. I expected more city noise but didnât experience that. We would definitely stay here again.
This was the perfect place to stay near downtown Charleston! It was close to many shops & restaurants that we could walk to. The house itself had just enough room for our group to hang out and was exactly what it looked like online. The host was extremely responsive and ensured we had what we needed before and throughout our stay. I would stay here again and recommend to others!
This is the place to stay if youâre eating at chubby fish. You can send someone to stake out the line, have drinks on the porch and when itâs time, a minute walk and youâre in. Spacious, nice back yard, parking itâs a great place and the owners group is super responsive.
My sister and I loved the property during our 3 night stay. We loved the location! It was a few minute drive to many of our destinations in old Charleston and less than 10 minutes to Folly Beach. Also, the property managers were easy to reach and tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
There are 3 nice-sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is also a large dining room. This house could easily accommodate a large group. The home is more âhistoricâ than I anticipated with cracking walls and floors that slope.
The first impression after opening the door was a little disappointing, I believe the listing photos are a bit deceptive. For example, the flooring is run down and not shiny, there are chips and cracks on the wall, etc. That being said, those minor aesthetic details, did not negatively impact our stay. The house was spotless clean, beds were comfortable, linens were great quality and neighborhood was quiet. It has all amenities needed to feel comfortable. Main attractions are 30 to 40 minutes walk. The host was responsive and answered all questions diligently. I would say the house provides good value for your money.
We booked for one night during our holiday family trip. This unit was quiet and close to everything. For shopping you may want to drive and park as the walk would be a tad long with lots of bags. Nice neighborhood and great managers.
The location of this property was great for walking with many good restaurants nearby. Makan and the dumpling place (forgot name already) were our faves. The place was clean. We had several noise interruptions (fire alarm next door and loud upstairs renters, we believe with a child) but it was to no fault of the property management or owner.
We really enjoyed our stay. This home is so close to King Street, it made it really easy to visit the sites. The home was roomy and very clean. Beds and towels were great! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Definitely recommend!
Booked for family attendance at School of Nursingâs Summer Convocation (Graduation.)
Very nice amenities (washer/dryer, full kitchen, outdoor space, ample parking) for our needs.
We were moving our daughter at the College of Charleston and this property served as a comfortable home base. Nice neighborhood in walking distance to good restaurants. Property management was responsive and accommodating.
We stayed here for 3 nights and was not disappointed. The house was exactly as the pictures portrayed. I liked how the host included a visitors guide to help make our stay easier! On site parking was a big plus! Plenty of eateries within walking distance of the house! I will definitely attempt a rebook if ever we are in Charleston again.
