The property was great! With 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 3 separate kitchen areas/coffee bars, it is absolutely perfect for a large family or group. Location was a short drive or Uber ride to CofC, King Street & more, which made it very convenient. Hope to stay again in the near future!
Overall this stay is just okay, the pictures definitely make it look nicer than it is. There are lots of chunks of wood missing from the floors that make for tripping hazards. The couch in the living room has no cushion on the sides, you just feel the hard word boards which my 4 year old didn't realize and he busted his lip really badly on. In addition, there is a door to the upstairs unit that unlocks from the downstairs... this seems like a safety issue as the upstairs guests wouldn't know that the people downstairs can easily unlock and access their unit. The other big issue is the parking, the spot is so narrow we couldn't get our rental car in it. For a place with 4 bedrooms you'd hope the spot is big enough to accommodate bigger groups. Overall the place was fine there are just some pretty big safety concerns that we wish we would have known about before booking here.
Beautiful property and perfect for couple friends. Close to everything and no car needed. The manager was very responsive to our needs. Coffee and wine very close :)
We were lucky and had this property for 145 a night, I checked later and the price was around 700 a night. To be honest I wouldnât rent it for that price. This unit is good for a large group of young adults because it has 4 bedrooms and they probably donât care about people constantly moving in upstairs unit and you can literally can hear them talk. The bedroom in the front of the house is worth because you can hear everything from outside of the street. The back bedrooms have musty smell but I guess itâs due to the age of the house..The house is close to all the shops and restaurants which is nice, pretty safe area. Another problem was the parking, the one they had is for very small cars. We had to park 8-10 min walk from the property.
The rental was very clean and location good. The only downfall was parking. The space next to the unit can only accommodate a very small vehicle like a mini cooper. We drive a Honda CRV and could not open the doors thereforeWe were instructed to park down the street in designated parking spots but none were available. We then opted to park at the Midtown garage and pay daily rate and walk back to our unit.
Great stay overall. The property was clean and located in a quaint part of town. The 4 bedroom layout was great for our group. Downsides...parking is very tight and you can hear the upstairs guests walking around. But, overall a great stay in a historic home in a walkable park of Charleston.
We had 8 guys on a golf trip and 5 of us statues here and watched football before our flight Monday morning. Plenty of street parking and 2 blocks from King St.
Very difficult parking. We could not pull into the drive far enough to even get out of the car. Had to leave the car over part of the side walk and received a parking ticket. Internet was out
We had a wonderful stay at 90 spring street. The place is just as pictured. Very nicely decorated and clean. The walk to king street isnât super close however, we had a car to get around and distance was fine. There was a strong musty smell in the home. Management sent a technician to check it out. It is an older home and the musty smell can be strong for those that have bad allergies like myself and my husband. With that said it was a great stay and time. Charleston is a charming city.
