Nice rooms although more sparse than the average Hilton. Beds were a little soft but ok. Unfortunately, this location had attracted noisy people both before and during our visit. We had people knocking on the walls while we were sleeping and then the front desk calling our room to say they had a noise complaint. When I told her it wasn’t us and we were sleeping she said oh maybe I will come up and investigate. It would have been better had she done that prior to calling our room!

Great location

Always stay at this property for my son’s HS baseball tournament but this time, my bed I believe had bed bugs which I addressed with the front desk.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Tru by Hilton Mt. Pleasant Charleston. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by Kreston, who was working the first shift. His kindness, helpfulness, and positive attitude truly stood out. His unique phrase, “Stay Blessed and Don’t Stress,” immediately lifted our spirits. It’s rare to meet someone with such genuine warmth. As we were checking out, we overheard Kreston speaking to a guest arriving after his shift had ended. He was staying behind to personally greet them, as they were coming specifically to see him. That level of dedication and personal care speaks volumes about the kind of service they provide. Even during breakfast, we saw him outside, and he waved and greeted me with the most genuine smile, clearly happy to see me. His energy was contagious, and it felt like being welcomed by a long-time friend. Having worked for Disney, where customer service is a top priority, I can confidently say Kreston’s level of care and attention rivals the best. It truly felt like he had been trained by Disney themselves. If more hotels had employees like Kreston, the hospitality industry would be a much better place!

Great place to stop

We arrived later at night and usually check in can be a pain late. This one was great, no issues and staff was nice. The hotel is nice, modern, and over all well kept. Our room was clean, with the exception of the desk. It was sticky and looked like something spilled on it. I carry wipes, so I simply wiped it myself. Otherwise, all clean, and smelled fine. The bed was very comfortable too. The AC worked great, and the shower water was plenty hot. The shower pressure was average, but the size of the stall made up for that. There were plenty of towels and such as well. Breakfast was decent, efficient. Overall I’d recommend. I’d stay here again for sure.

We were quite disappointed in the breakfast. Also the pool table was being used by some workers to lay out wallpaper and they were unwilling to move it even though there were empty tables in the lobby.

I still have a dispute pending after calling multiple times and told they would call back about a $20.00 charge noted on my cc. Poor service! The rooowas decent and bed comfortable but as a Hilton member I’ll be giving them an earful about trying to steal from me!

Extended check out time

I enjoyed my stay but l live in cheraw sc by the time l checked in it was around 11pm due to my wife having to work and getting off by 6. We were staying because l had an early morning dr appt so we had to up about 8am. The appointment was over about 10. We were still tired and exhausted and really needed to take a nap. Noally check out is 12 otherwise would had been ok but l think a layer check out time should had been offered and extended.

Very nice hotel. Updated and clean, No carpet - love it!! Love the no tub shower with the glass door, no more curtain - yay! Friendly checkin staff. Convenient area. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
