Enjoy beautiful oceanview vistas along the south shore while you make yourself at home at our authentic Nevisian cottage. Fairwinds is a traditional style two story villa built with modern techniques, but maintains the romantic feel of a home that belongs on the landscape. Accessed by a private road, Fairwinds is situated in the sought after Hermitage Inn/Estate enclave.

Our guests enjoy access and use of the Hermitage Inn restaurant, bar and tennis court.

The large open plan home has high cathedral ceilings and louvered doors that open to the wide wooden veranda. Various groupings of seating and dining allow ample opportunity to take advantage of the glorious views of the sea and neighboring islands on the horizon.

The kitchen is modern with crisp white cabinetry and fitted with stainless appliances including: fridge/freezer, gas burner, oven, dishwasher, microwave and finished off with a stylish black granite countertop.

Fairwinds has 2 air conditioned bedrooms with ensuite baths on main level. There is a 3rd air conditioned bedroom/bath with bunk beds on the lower level (accessed via exterior entry only).

One of the cottage's most unique features is our incredible garden, designed by Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medalist Julie Toll. They are perfectly manicured by our gardener Curtis who is on-site 4 days per week.

We are happy to help set up Transfers from St. Kitts, rental car, etc to make your planning easier.

This was our third stay at Fairwinds. It is becoming an annual tradition now for our family. And we have already booked next year. Part of me is reluctant to give as great a review as this property deserves because I don’t want more people to find out about it. But that would be selfish. It is such a magical place and Fairwinds gives modern comfort while placing you at the edge of the Hermitage which is steeped in history and tradition. Fairwinds is a magical, wonderful home with stunning views over the sea, with fabulous gardens and pool, constant cooling breezes off the mountain, the quiet and tranquility that melts away the stresses of the world and a place to feel at home with the best that Nevis has to offer. We have travelled to Nevis for the past 40 years. We are so happy to have found Fairwinds.

This location is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures simply don’t do the view justice! Quiet and serene, so much wildlife all around, we often chose to hang at the house over going to the beach, not our norm! Walking around the beautiful gardens was a daily activity! Gantt was such an attentive, accommodating host, gave us great recommendations and made us feel very welcomed and taken care of, all the staff was so sweet. We did NOT want to ever leave and WILL be back!

Fairwinds is a little piece of paradise! The house is wonderful, so private, so comfortable, and with such a beautiful garden and glorious views. Quiet and Lovely Getaway

Just an all around Perfect stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Biggest interruptions were monkeys and an occasional rooster! delightful hahaRooms were very clean and the decor was entirely fitting for a very private and comfortable getaway. Fabulous outdoor areas with great seating. Great food at Hermitage and Montpelier as usual too!

Perfect!

This is a lovely home in a beautiful location. Great views from the back deck and we loved the wild life! We enjoyed walking to the Hermitage for breakfast some mornings and pizza on Fridays. There is a super little pool, and spectacular gardens lovingly cared for by Curtis..Gantt is a first class host.

Fabulous cottage

What can i say except when can we return!! We were a party of three friends and styed for 5 days. The cottage did not disappoint. It was spotless, a good size, beautifully decorated in a style that suited the environment but with every mod con you need. The view was spectacular, especially watching the sun rise from the balcony whilst i did my morning yoga And the gardens were a sight and "scent" to behold. That evey little detail has been considered and no expenses spared for guests' comfort was evident in the fluffy towels, the bedsheets, toiletries and the very generous welcome basket.The staff were amazing...shout out to Nero and Curtis. The only thing i would mention is that the third room is not quite on the same standard as the master and second bedroom. It is however perfectly habitable and the bunk.bed comfy . Word of advce , you will.need a car an SUV is probanly best at navigating the steep roads up to the cottage and the first time can be tricky as the addres does not come up on WAZE/GPS so you wil need to try and remember the way from the Hermitage inn. Gantt thanks so much for your prompt responses communcation and assistance. We had a fabulous time.and really hope to return

Amazing stay at Fairwinds, Nevis

What an amazing place to stay. The cottage is located in very well maintained grounds/gardens. The view of the sea and Nevis peak is unrivalled. The pool was very clean and benefited from sun beds. The cottage itself is beautiful. Inside it is very contemporary modern (traditional but with all the latest and good quality fixtures, fittings and furniture), clean and in excellent condition. We were greeted by Curtis who was really friendly and helped us settle in giving us a quick introduction to the cottage. Overall this is probably the best cottage we have stayed in and would fully recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Nevis. Communication with the property manager was quick and clear. Thanks Gannt and Curtis.

Amazing Stay!

This was a truly amazing property in Nevis. Stay here!! The photos cannot capture how incredible this property is. It is immaculately kept, including a spectacular garden. We spent everyday with windows open, out on the large porch watching the wildlife, and lounging by the private pool. Location was fine as most of the island requires a car to get around, and the nearby Hermitage Inn was a nice plus for meals when you wanted to eat in. Overall, I cannot recommend this property enough, we will definitely be back if we can!

True Hidden Gem

This was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever had. The pictures don't do it or the surrounding gardens justice. The villa is superbly appointed inside and everything was incredibly high quality and comfortable. From the fluffy towels to the beautiful deck furniture, everything was exceptional. If you are thinking of renting this cottage. Do it now. Do not hesitate. The photos do not do it justice. The house itself is bright and airy. The views are incredible. The gardens are wonderful and well cared for by Curtis the Gardner. He is also very friendly and happy to answer questions you may have about the gardens. Gantt the owner was more than helpful and made are transportation from St. Kitt’s a breeze.

My family loved our time at this property. It turned out to be much better than expected. It's a very private villa with lush gardens, nice pool and an excellent view. It's modern and well designed and a nice place to spend a few days or use as your home base to explore Nevis. We would certainly come back if it was available. I think its a bargain at the offered price point and compares favorably with similar private villas at the Four Seasons costing $6k - $9k per night so book this villa if you can! Google maps did not give us the best directions to get there, so check with the host. Its easy to get to from the main road, but Google sent us astray. No problem. Enjoy!

Nevis holiday

This is a fantastic house. Great neighborhood, kind helpful staff, gorgeous gardens, porch, pool and breezes. (Never touched the AC.) Short ride to delicious restaurants and several grocery stores. Only bad part was…..we had to go home!
