I booked this home in spring 2025 for a January 2026 stay. On January 1, 2026, the property changed management. I was told the new company would honor my original reservation, pricing, early check-in, and late checkout, and that they would contact me on January 2 to confirm payment and details. They never did.On January 3, I logged into VRBO and saw the house listed as available for the same weekend I had booked for a group of 20 women traveling from across the country. I had received no communication from the new management company.To secure the house, I had to rebook through VRBO. I requested early check-in and late checkout again but was charged three times the original amount, meaning my original pricing was not honored. After rebooking, the management company then denied my early check-in and late checkout.I was later told I could only request early check-in within 24 hours of arrival. When I did, I was informed early access still might not be possible because the home had not been cleaned or inspected, as it was a newly acquired property.After significant back-and-forth, I eventually received early check-in and late checkoutâbut only after paying 3 times more than originally promised.The lack of communication, failure to honor the reservation, and failure to honor pricing was unprofessional and stressful. I would never work with this property management company again and will avoid properties under their management in the future.
