We paid for the rental 34 days prior to arrival, paid directly to owners as per Vrbo. However, morning of arrival owner says hasn’t received payment. Spent 3 Hours trying to straighten it out. Impossible to get anyone on phone. Vrbo hesitant to contact owner for some reason. Called Vrbo customer support number 3 times, line dropped after 6-12 minutes each time. Owner blamed Vrbo for holding , Vrbo blamed owner for not understanding how owner’s own billing software works. House was nice enough and decently equipped. At 10 am the first morning of our visit a handyman just walks in the front door as we were upstairs, announcing he is there to service the AC! Scared my wife. He left promptly when we refused him further entrance. So, I recommend if renting this nice place to make sure owner verify receipt of payment days prior to arrival and owner does send over repair/service man during your stay.m, whom enters property unannounced. We are not surprised Vrbo customer support severely lacking.
