Overall, the stay was good. There were some damaged fixtures and paneling in the downstairs bathroom area that appear to have been resulting from incomplete maintenance work. Recommend finishing prior to next rental.

The lake view was beautiful! Beautiful neighborhood, saw lots of deer. Close to Lake Norman State Park and quick back roads to get to Troutman or Mooresville. The yard contained a fire pit and a peaceful pond with waterfall and fish. The boathouse dock has table and chairs in the sun for cooler fall days. There are 2 nice decks attached to the house. All of the beds are comfortable. Warm gas fireplace in the great room. Ample hot water. Spice cupboard stocked. Overall wonderful place to enjoy a fall weekend! Hope to come back!

I will admit Old Lake Charm does have a Million Dollar View! This was our second time staying here and again we will definitely be back. It has such a warm and cozy feeling and the amenities are great. Shana is an amazing host. You will not go wrong booking here.

This house has beautiful views of the lake! We were able to enjoy the view from the inside due to lovely windows that opened out onto a full deck with a seating area and a table for dining outside. There is a dock with a sitting area also. The house was lovely and perfect for us. It would be perfect for many ages as it has a large game room with a pool table, ping pong table as well as a video game. Our hostess was very responsive and kind. We hope to return again someday.

Lake Life

Lake Fishing Vaction was Great

Had a mini vacation for Easter at this lake house. Everything was clean and the property description was right on. Caught a lot of fish right off the dock. This place had a really nice game room too. If anyone is looking for a great place to stay on the lake, this one is for you.Ianyon

lovely lake getaway

Wonderful place. Spacious for our group, beautiful view of the lake, great deck, fun game room. At first we looked in email couldn’t find the checkin info. so we called Shana who said it was texted. The A/C vent in the queen sized bed room downstairs was VERY loud. The descriptive info in the kitchen needs to be uodated because it says, dont.park in the garage, which is impossible because its now a game room.

Lake Norman Vacation

My family had a fantastic stay! The home was even more beautiful than pictured. We loved the deck with unbeatable lake views. The game room was AMAZING too. The show stopper was the lake itself: we spent hours on floating dock and in the water. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and floating mat! We fished off the dock, catching good sized catfish. We also rented a boat for several days and had a blast exploring beautiful Lake Norman. Wonderful home, wonderful vacation! I highly recommend!!

Our stay at Brookside Cottage was both relaxing and enjoyable. From the gorgeous views of the lake to the comfortable decor and furnishings, the property did not disappoint. Many hours were spent relaxing in the lake and on the dock. We are already looking for another occasion to come back.

Amazing views on low traffic cove

We rented the house for a week and tied up our boat. When not on the water, we spent our time on the porch overlooking the water, at the fire pit and inside the game room. We had everything in the kitchen we needed to cook breakfast and a few dinners. It was a major plus that the house came with so many lake towels. Hosts were speedy with replies to questions.

Perfect Family Vacation

This was our first time to Lake Norman and will not be our last. Our family of five had one of our best vacations to date. Peaceful, clean, and safe. We enjoyed having dinner on the beautiful deck with a gorgeous view of the lake, taking the kayaks within the cove, and fishing off of the pier. Great memories were made!

Memorial Day Weekend

We come down for the Coca-Cola 600 every year. We had a great weekend. The place was amazing! Lots of fishing, kayaking, sitting around the fire at night. The game room was a lot of fun as well. So many things to choose from. Thanks for another year of so many fantastic memories!!
