This property was just what my college friends abs I needed for a short trip to Charlottesville for a football game. The house was clean, well appointed, and had plenty of space. Victoria communicated about the house, check-in, check out clearly and timely. This would also be a great place to stay if you are heading to the area to go wine tasting as it is close to a number of vineyards. The owners were clear that they have a dog, but the house was clean top to bottom with no evidence of any dog hair. We had a great stay!
House was good but owner had left all her stuff in the closets and locked them up leaving no place to hang our stuff, dressers were full of clothes, cleanliness border line, dog hair, piles of dead sting bugs in the windowsills, refrigerators and freezer also full of owner's stuff. In one word: not professional at all.
Unfortunately we did not stay for the night. We new it was not a full time rental and was someone's home they lived in with a dog. The dog smell was evident. That was bearable but as we turned in for bed we found all beds had evidence of dog and human hair. We decided not to stay and was able to find a hotel at 10Pm. Would appreciate a refund.
The house is new and nicely decorated just a short drive away from Charlottesville attractions. It could have been cleaner, the host said she will look for a new cleaning crew. There is plenty of space on three floors with lots of stylish decorations. Please make sure you check your VRBO app. The host sent us several messages a day before arrival asking to confirm that we are coming, which I did not see. I almost had a panic attack when I read that she will cancel our reservation with no refund if we donât respond by 3pm. Luckily, all was resolved and we were able to enjoy this beautiful house.
We often do winery weekends and this was our first time staying here. The location was great! Close to town but still quiet neighborhood for the evenings!
We visited Charlottesville for a family wedding but didnât want to stay in a hotel with our young children. This place worked out great! It was new, bright and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. It was a close drive to wedding festivities. There was even a playground for our kids!
Wonderful location to downtown, close to bars, shops, and food. Easy communication with host and lovely new neighborhood. We would have liked to see it a bit cleaner, however overall our stay was extremely enjoyable! Will definitely we back to Charlottesville!
A beautiful newly built townhouse with many amenities in a great neighborhood. Would have loved to stay longer. Definitely would stay again if the opportunity arises.
This listing is absolutely as advertised! New 3 bedroom home with spectacular living space. The living area is comfortable and open to the kitchen/ dining area, TV and electric fireplace. Beautiful view of mountains. Because it is an end unit which backs up to a wooded areas, it feels pretty private. We like to cook meals when we are traveling and this kitchen had awesome prep space and great appliances. Victoria was a great host, very responsive to questions. If I am back in the Charlottesville area soon, I will be looking for this listing as a first choice to return!
