This VRBO has many wonderful qualities and a lot of potential. The three well‑sized bedrooms, two large bedrooms, and two baths are a real advantage. A beautiful walking path just steps from the front door leads straight to downtown, and the neighborhood has a Tesco Express, a coffee bar, and other conveniences. The kitchen is a good size with a great stove, and the family room, patio, most bedrooms, and the back garden get abundant sunshine. The garden itself was charming, full of birds, a funny neighborhood cat, and one bird that delivered a sunrise serenade every morning.However, much of the interior felt very low‑budget. None of the five bedrooms had a chest of drawers, which made no sense for rooms with double or queen beds. Several end tables were wobbly and had to be held steady to open the drawers. The bedding looked nice but was made of hot, synthetic fabric, and the duvet didn’t seem sustainable. Neither bathroom had towel hooks or any place to hang or store items, and the larger bathroom had no surface space for toiletries. The large ground‑floor bedroom lacked double‑glazed windows. No extra trash bags were provided. The living‑room furniture was scratchy and uncomfortable, the lower kitchen cabinets smelled of mold, the refrigerator was far too small, and there were too few glasses and bowls.Even with these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay. The house served us well, and with thoughtful upgrades it could be excellent. If you value space, convenience, sunshine,
