Room strange smell, I felt it was probably from the carpet & strong cleaning products. Very basic room but towels changed each day which was appreciated

Bathroom shower pressure ok, bathrooms could do with grout changing as black marks. Toliet inside rim noticeable rust/scale.
Did not see staff but when had trouble getting into room very responsive ( self check in) Email sent with code before stay, maybe just let people know that the key to the door is behind the key pad thing that would help.
The room I was in I could here other people having shower, the extractor fan & banging of doors so noisy
Overall not bad with a couple of tweaks I think it could be improved upon
The room is nice and clean. However the room temperature is too high even though the radiator is over . Also the emergency alarm suddenly on around 6:30 . Wake us up with scary and canât fall back asleep
Perfectly serviceable hotel - was only here for one night - but quite a distance from the bars and restaurants of Cheltenham.
It was quite clean and rooms are ok but the self check in is very impersonal and I didnât see any staff while I was there - but did not need them
This property has no staff on site. And there is no one at the end of a phone when you need help at 2:00am because your bed is riddled with bed bugs who are feasting on your face, arms and chest. I had a terrible experience. Itâs only after the helpful Expedia agent who was on call at night tried to get a refund that I received a response. They offered to move me to another room, but no one sent a follow up email to check on me (I was in a lot of pain with swollen face and eyelids), and they offered no compensation. Itâs been 3 days since that incident and I am still struggling with the bites all over my body. The hotel committed a serious breach of health and safety practices and their only response was to offer to move me to another room. I should also mention that the main road leading to the hotel is closed. This causes severe traffic jams in the morning and in the evening. They sent no communication about that before I checked in. I have never felt so upset and disappointed with the way I was treated. I wonât be booking this place again,
Nice large room and comfortable bed. However, the hairdryer was broken which was eventually replaced but finding a human member of staff to report this was not easy. The wooden slatted blind was broken.
The electricity on all the sockets failed in the middle of the night and therefore the hairdryer couldnât be used.
The very dark decor of the room made it gloomy. Overall, disappointing.
This is a contactless hotel, so key collection details are sent prior to arrival and you go straight to your room - so hard to rate on service as I didnât interact with anyone.
The room was well equipped, beautifully decorated and had plenty of space.
The bed which while low was extremely comfortable and the linens and pillows were of a very good quality.
The bathroom was equipped with a bath and shower, and my only issue was here, as it was incredibly slippery as expected trying to get out of the bath after a shower, and no grab handles available.
The bed was terrible, two singles pushed to make a king but mattresses at different heights so very uncomfortable. One side the bed sloped up so couldnt lie in the bed without feeling unwell. The otherside was nearly 2 inches lower. The bath was filthy as was the floor to the bathroom. The walls in the bathroom needed a good clean and the towels didn't look clean either! The room was extremely noisy could hear running water from below most of the night. We didnt try the restaurant as it was limited to italian style food which wasn't what we wanted.
Was a bit worried about the contactless process but it worked super well actually and allowed us to come and go as we pleased. Bed was comfy and our daughter slept very well in the cot provided. The only things I would maybe say on the negative front was that the shower could have been better but it did the job!
A lovely room, spacious and comfortable, but what a strange operating system at this hotel. They have no reception, but email you your room number and key safe combination.
Numerous individuals hanging around in the afternoon/evening who I assume were staff.
Lovely cosy and comfortable hotel. Was ideal for us as close to a wedding we were attending. The food in the restaurant was delicious (we had an evening meal there but didn't order breakfast).
