Although a beautiful house, it is very old and creaky. Fortunately we were on the top floor so we didn't have to endure someone walking around above. On a brighter note the owners were wonderful and the continental breakfast was good. Location was great but the parking was a problem, especially if all rooms are booked.
The property is located in quiet part of town. You can walk to all of the shopping, eateries, or take in downtown Waynesville, NC. The owners are a great couple that are very helpful to make your stay extra special. Only issue is parking. If you want to visit The Smoky Mountains National Park, you will need your vehicle and getting in and will take planning.
Breakfast was both savory and sweet. Well balanced options were available. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch at first light with a warm tea in hand.
Excellent place to stay, comfortable, quiet and a good breakfast. Porch area was beautiful as we watched the squirrels attack the bird feeders! This was a great place to R&R after a ling day at the Conference.
We had a great experience, the owners John and Deb were very attentive at all times. The house is beautiful and the too we stayed in had everything we needed and more. We looking forward to staying with them again.Fun fact , we were all having breakfast around 8:30 , my wife and I with two more couples at the table and all of the sudden there was an 4.1 earthquake that shook the house , made the morning waking up very interesting.
John & Debbie were both very accommodating. John shared a lot of the history of Waynesville and Love Lane B & B. Lovely stay. They offer these beautiful mugs for saleâI bought one as a souvenir I can use often!
Beautiful home, great location to small town of Waynesville, pleasant, helpful hosts. Great dining options and convenient to Great Smokey Mountains and surrounding areas.
We always appreciate places to stay with rich history, well-kept and hospitable. This B&B was beyond our expectations. Most certainly, we'll be back at summer. Thank you!
What a lovely property! And such gracious hosts - we will visit again next year for our annual Christmas tree buying trip. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
Hurricane Helene created minor issues, but John and Debbie were gracious hosts. The 3rd floor room I stayed in was perfect for a bachelor, but bathroom lighting and counter might be a challenge for women with makeup.
