Dirty and run down

The only redeeming thing was the balcony view. The room was shabby and dirty. Plus I had no towels. And it was very noisy. The most disturbing part were the holes in the walls.

We can’t give reviews on anything but terrible. Although from the outside it didn’t look like a clean place to stay. We booked a month in advance as well as called 3 times to confirm my husband needed a downstairs room as he is handicap. We arrived late due to traffic as they’d called us three times during our drive there. We arrived and was told only rooms available are upstairs and they didn’t know how our room was given away to someone else. So,at 10:30 pm we was having to look for a place to stay. They didn’t have a care in the world and did nothing to help in the situation. We would never recommend this place to anyone,ever. There was 3 couples and 3 rooms booked. We went over to Maggie Valley and was very well accommodating at the Ramada Inn with excellent care,cleanliness & hot breakfast.

Not great.

Everything in the room needs remodeled. None of the beds or chairs were comfortable. WiFi worked. Good view of the river. Friendly staff. Had hot water problems. Will probably find another place next visit

It was good, the bathroom is small like room closet small. the sink water doesn't have enough pressure and doesn't get hot very well. Also had issues with my card to enter my room and couldn't get in my room late one night and with no overnight support i was stuck with sleeping in my car overnight until morning probably not staying in this spot for a while

Clean room, beautiful view of river, friendly staff,great location ,quite atmosphere. Close areas for shopping. Close proximity to national park. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay at newfound lodge again.

Microwave and coffee maker were dirty and old. Carpet was dirty. Limited access for pet area and nobody had cleaned up after their pets in a long time. Disgusting odor in that area and couldn’t access it due to the feces everywhere. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Our room had not been cleaned when we checked in but the staff was great about getting it clean asap. It’s an older property which could use some updating. However, the water took six minutes to warm up and never did get hot. Thanks to the lukewarm showers, I can’t recommend staying there.

Stay down the road

Poor service and not clean. I arrived at 9pm to no one in the office to check me in. Room was gross and pillow cases were stained. Also had no towels. I'm usually a go with the flow, just need a place to sleep kinda girl but this was not even bare minimum... One positive note was pretty view of the creek from the balcony.
