Excellent spacious rental

Our party totaled six people, including 2 very young children. We rented both apts...upper and lower, which was necessary for us as we needed at least 3 BRs. This house fit the bill perfectly, with 2 BRs in each apt. If you need a place that's super clean with plenty of room, this is it. Although the property is VERY close to Rt 9, the fenced side yard was good for the kids and lounging around a campfire. Keep in mind that there is no immediate lake access, and a view of the lake is blocked by woods. Lake access is available down the road a bit. If that is not a concern, this is a wonderful rental.

Family vacation

We had a great week. The house was clean and well stocked with pots,pans,dishes etc. The beds were comfortable and the linens were high quality. We would definitely recommend the lily pad.

Great house!

We stayed here with another couple. The two floors with separate accommodations were perfect. We each had plenty of privacy. The house was clean, well furnished and plenty of information about the area. The kitchen was well stocked. We had problems getting the sports on the tv and the owner spent around 30 min with us on the phone helping to set it up. She was great at communicating before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend and would stay here again

My family enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach, private dock & boats down the road. Loon Lake was beautiful. The house was spacious, well stocked, clean, great outdoor space. Loved sitting in the ADK chairs near the firepit. Had something for everyone. Great for my young grandchildren. It was relaxing and peaceful.

Nice Rental

We had a nice weekend getaway at the Lily Pad. The floor plan with 2 separate living spaces and 2 kitchens was perfect for accommodating our group of 8. The kids had a separate space to hang out while the adults enjoyed some quiet time. We weren’t able enjoy the outdoor space due to the weather and a busy schedule of activities in the area but the deck(s) and fire pit looked like an inviting space! The interior was clean and well appointed. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information needed to make for an enjoyable stay! We would recommend the Lily Pad to those looking to enjoy Loon Lake and all the outdoor activities the Adirondack area has to offer!

AWESOME

This property is very nice and clean. I have been many places and LILY PAD is the best of the best. No dust, no debris, no cockroach. Everything is beyond expectation. House keeper did good job and yes CHERI is very professional as well. We suppose to checkin 4pm, but Cheri let us checkin early and we have to checkout at 10am, but again Cheri let us checkout later if we want to. Thank you very much Cheri. I’ll definitely recommend this lily pad house. Kids loved everything in the house and outside the house. We really enjoyed a lot. Will definitely see you again. Thank you Samten

Close to lake with access but not right on lake. Access is about 1 mike away. Nice property and clean. Could use some updates as carpets are worn and stained but overall clean. Beautiful area and close to restaurants with a small drive.

House is amazing wehad our family stay here for our wedding at friend lake inn.. all the kids had an amazing time house clean lot of room and cheri is amazing anything we needed or any question she was there to help. My family want to go back next year!

Christmas ski trip

We chose this place after our normal location was booked. House was clean and tidy and offered my family all we needed. It was close to gore (about 20 min) and close to grocery and other necessary amenities. We will certainly book again!

Wonderful Holiday Getaway

We spent Thanksgiving Week at The Lily Pad on Loon Lake and had a wonderful time. It was just the two of us part of the week and we hosted family for Thanksgiving. The house was spotless when we arrived so we could just concentrate on preparing for the holiday. When there was a dusting of snow, a bucket of ice melt appeared outside the front door, one of the benefits of having the owners nearby (just up the hill). Having two full kitchens made cooking holiday meals a breeze and the kitchens were both surprisingly well appointed for rentals (two large crock pots!). We found the house to be cozy and comfortable and we’re so happy that we made this call for Thanksgiving this year.

Great for our large family

We had 8 adults and 5 children stay at the property and we never felt crammed. We especially loved the two levels with individual kitchens and family rooms to hang out in. There were plenty of kayaks and canoes to take out on the lake (there is a short drive to the dock, but it's not bad) as well as fire pits to enjoy s'mores at night. We thought the place could have been cleaner, but we understand the short turn-around time, so we appreciated the available cleaners and vacuums. Cheri was a very responsive host and we would stay here again should we find ourselves in the beautiful Loon Lake area.

Excellent time at Lily Pad

We had a wonderful time at the Lily Pad during our two night stay. The house was very clean and well maintained. There was plenty of fresh, clean towels and linens so we didn’t have to pack all of that. The owners were very responsive prior to the stay helping us with any questions we had. They provided a list of recommendations for restaurants, breweries, etc and every one we tried was so good. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property! Thank you!

Lots of space but VERY disappointing lake access

We loved the space for two couples trying (and succeeding) to social distance during COVID-19. One couple took North apartment and one took South apartment. And Cheri was extremely responsive to whenever we had questions, which was very nice. The location was so nice for hiking and biking, and there are 3 great short hiking trails (great views at the top) within 5 minutes drive. It was nice to have boats - canoes and kayaks for our use. No dishwasher was a negative during COVID times. How could we tell if the dishes were cleaned properly by the previous users? There is NO ACCESS to the lake close to (i.e. walking distance) the house. You are a stone's throw from the lake and not even a tiny view from the house or yard. The road (route 9) is also busy (double yellow) with trucks and motorcycles. For the boat dock you Have to drive 1.3 miles to the boats And that lake access was no good for swimming (too shallow with too many Lilly pads). You can drive 2.9 miles to the public beach, which had a very tiny roped off area (good for young kids, not good for 2 former lifeguards who love to swim distance) to swim in. Next time we will look for WATERFRONT or LAKEFRONT in the VRBO description. If that's not important for you, you'll like the rest.

Beautiful and Clean

Lily Pad was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Very clean and fresh. Cheri was very accommodating and communicated well. The property is well maintained and we loved the use of the private dock, canoes and Kayaks.

We loved staying here at the Lily Pad. This is our second time. This time with 3 small families and had plenty of room for grown ups and kids.
