I reserved a Premier Room, and although we were informed upon arrival that we could check in early because rooms were available, the condition of the room fell far below expectations. The bathroom tub was not draining properly, so we had to contact the front desk for maintenance to come and address the issue. The bathroom door was also a major problem it wouldn’t close, and if you applied a bit too much pressure, it would jam completely, leaving the person inside unable to get out without someone else pushing it open from the outside. The in-room amenities were also disappointing. The iron did not work at all, and the ironing board was in very poor condition, covered in burn marks and looking extremely worn out. To add to the overall experience, the staff in the parking lot were not courteous and did not provide the level of service we’ve come to expect over the years. I have stayed at Los Cocos many times, but this visit has been the most disappointing by far. Sadly, based on this experience, it will likely be my last stay.

The room was espacios, comfortable bed but not pillows. Bathroom can use an up grade and need some maintenance. Tv stream had some problems for a couple of days, all in all was an ok place for us to use as a base for traveling around Chetumal.

An old favorite

I love the fact that they have a restaurant and offer room service too. I have been coming here for 25 years, and at one time it was the most luxurious hotel in Chetumal Mexico. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and bilingual (Spanish & English) and it's very reasonably priced, especially for families. The center courtyard area has a pool, which has lingers around it, so the kids can play in safety.
