Wonderful location. Rug and bathroom floor were gross. Apartment was stocked with bare bone necessities. Communication was TERRIBLE. Felt like I was talking to a bot and questions were never fully addressed.
The blinds donât cover the full length of the bedroom windows which makes it difficult to sleep with the streetlight in your eyes all night. They will also send you a front door code but you donât need it since you can just push the door open. After reporting the issue it was never fixed. Great access to public transportation and the unit is spacious but Iâll look for another location next time.
We loved how easy it was to walk to most things we wanted to do! It was a 15 minute walk to Michigan Ave. and only 30 minute walk to the Sears Tower. It was also very clean and the modern kitchen supplied all of our needs. I wish the dining table was larger (seating for 4) and that there would be more seating options. Some of us had to sit on dining room chairs while watching T.V. The only other thing I would say is that the blinds in both bedrooms only cover 3/4 of the window. Way too much light coming in during the night and morning. We loved the brick walls and decor!
This was our first time to visit Chicago and loved it! The location to the train made it possible for us to do as much as we could in the short amount of time we had. The reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is due to the unpleasant odor in the front of the apartment and because the back room window shades are too small and donât give complete privacy. We also could not get the fan to work in the back bedroom without the light being on. Overall I would recommend this property. It met all of our needs.
Overall this apartment was great. Plenty of space for my family of 5 to sleep (all in their own beds!), near the bus and L train stations which was great, well stocked kitchen and tons of towels. It can be loud though. While the train and traffic noise wasn't bothersome to me (just normal sounds of a city) just a heads up for people, that on weekend evenings there is a club across the street that can get very loud. My children couldn't hear a thing in the bedroom in the back but it's hard to miss from the front bedroom. Besides that I would stay again for sure the next time we were in the Chicago!
Clean, nice rooms. The club across the street was loud and kept us awake until 4:30am. Itâs open from 11pm-4am and has a long line of people waiting to get in all night. The host was patronizing. Parking is confusing, we were towed ($270) from the lot even though it has a sign that says âSpotHero.â
