Great location and communication with the owner. We could easily walk to our daughter's town home. Lots of restaurants and places to see around the neighborhood. We will definitely stay there again! Kelly L
Overall a great stay for the price. The unit is a bit older of a building and apartment than the pictures may suggest. That being said, very clean and the host kindly had the AC running so the apartment was cool and comfortable when I arrived.
The property is nice but was a bit difficult find. The address listed was not the correct address and I had to call to get the correct address. The host answered right away which I did appreciate. Check in info was sent morning of, the property is not one of the homes on the street itâs an apartment that is behind the black gate and you cannot see the address. After dealing with the difficulty of the lock box it was smooth sailing. I believe thereâs a total of 4 key/code entry points so be prepared for that and just so youâre aware they do want you take the trash out. Overall 4/5 for cleanliness and area but 2/5 for check in and 3/5 for community.
The apartment was as itâs listed. Clean, comfortable, in a good area. For us, it was close to my sonâs condo (which is why we were in Chicago).Close to the Brown Line (train), which was great to take train to the Loop. We barely heard the noise inside the place.Communication with host was good. Instructions on how to access the place were very well spelled out. We had no issues. We would stay here again. Thanks!
I loved the location! Lakeview is, in my opinion, the best neighborhood in Chicago and this was right in the heart of it. I could walk to Cubs games, I was a block from the train, and the whole area was safe and walkable. I stayed by myself and there was more than enough space. The bed was comfy and the WiFi (which the hosts were nice enough to help me with when I initially had trouble connecting) was fast. I loved the gates courtyard too, felt very safe the whole time. Great place overall, and definitely my first choice for when I want to visit Chicago from now on.
Loved this little apartment very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the city. Kristine was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
Place is very clean as advertised and worked well for us. Nice neighborhood & Close to metro which was very helpful, walkable to Wrigley which was nice. Only issue is that we could not get TV to work for anything unless I used my streaming accounts - this was not a big deal for us tho.
The property was very clean and kind of quirky in a good way. My only complaint was the size of the bath towels. I am not a huge person but the towels seem more suited for children. Host was very nice and responsive via the app and text.
Place was great. Ac units worked well, kitchen was fully stacked and the bed was great! Easy check in and check out process, good WiFi and has everything you need! Great location as well!
Property was accurate to the listing and the neighborhood was cute and walkable. The only hiccup was that the lock to get into the building was a little funky and over the course of booking and the stay itself we were provided at least 3 different numbers to contact the host. One consistent number would have been preferred.
Basic, clean , small footprint unit near rail transportation for ease of access to city locations.
We found this unit to be adequate. We were in Chicago visiting our son and daughter-in-law and needed a one bedroom unit nearby their home. This unit was sufficient in terms of location and basic amenities. There is nothing glamorous here. The kitchen and bathroom are small. The building is older than we prefer. Staircase leading up one floor to unit is somewhat dark . Unit was clean and uncluttered. Kitchen utilities, stove, microwave, refrigerator, utensils all very clean and more than adequate.
