The rooms were actually run down and not clean, there were stains on the sheets and the carpet and chairs were worn, the chairs were threadbare. The parking lot had people smoking marijuana, which smells terrible. Would not bring children.

Not returning there!

Where to start? Stains on the carpet like a crime scene… loveseat cushion upholstery was shredded… Victoria secret panties between the mattress & headboard (not mine!) a three night stay and only 1 shampoo & 1 conditioner provided & they let you know that you wouldn’t have maid service since its only a 3 night stay, but you could request it I believe.

Close the airport, and overall good price compared to others in the area. Had to pay for parking, which unusual for a hotel like this in other places, but not unusual for the Chicago area. On vacation with wife and 3 adult kids. Our room overall was in poor condition with leaky sink pipe under the sink soaking the carpet below, and really nasty stained mattress in the pull out sofa bed. Bathroom door bottom was corroded. Reported the leaky sink to the front desk and they said they would get it fixed, but never did. They did replace the sofa bed mattress with one that was less stained and a little better, and made-up the sofa bed with a pad and sheets, which was better. They also offered us to switch us to another room that had been more recently remodeled, but the soft sleeper didn't look much better, and we didn't want to move all of our stuff, so we agreed to stay if they switched out the sofa mattress (which they did) and fix the sink (which they didn't).

Sadly Needs a Renovation

The Comfort Suites at Chicago O'Hare is desperate need of repair and updating. Throughout the lobby and our individual room the carpet is soiled and torn. The sofa cushion in our room has rips on both sides. We waited in the lobby for our shuttle to take us to the airport and the sofa and chars there were also in need of replacement. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, the bed was very comfortable, our room was clean, and having the shuttle to the airport was very helpful. This hotel could be a winner for me if the management would just update the carpet and furniture throughout.

It is clean but old property. There are visible sofa and carpet stains, old pillows. The staff are efficient. Good selection of breakfast food. Restaurant inside the property also has great pizza!

Still an excellent location, dedicated airport transportation, great service and cleanliness, but the lack of investment in upkeep and repairs is really beginning to show. It’s been difficult to watch.

You cannot beat the transportation to/from airport and train station. We needed both at odd hours (super late and super early), and both were readily available. It was nice to have both breakfast and lunch/dinner available on site. As far as the room went, quiet but had a musty smell, like that old cigarette smell even though it was a non-smoking facility. Take-out and frozen food from previous guest left was in refrigerator and multiple hairs in the toilet/shower area did not bode well for feeling that it was really clean. Overall though, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I were in the same situation.
