I chose this hotel because of the Olympic size pool & on site restaurant. I received information by email about each. When I checked In about 7:45 pm, hungry & excitedly looking forward going for a swim in the pool open until 10pm, I found out from the check-in clerk that BOTH WERE CLOSED! I had a traumatic femur (upper leg) fracture 2 years ago, followed by a year of physical therapy. I haven’t had an opportunity to swim since my recovery. I was looking forward, for SO LONG, to swim again. This was a terrible disappointment! And I was hungry. The clerk said he couldn’t refund me-I would need to go to Expedia to see if I could get a refund. I had driven 5 hours. I didn’t know if I would get a refund. I didn’t know where there was another hotel. I just stayed.

The curtains at the entrance gives the impression that it is not the front. Once you get in, the lobby is nice. Lax was very welcoming and checked me in quickly with a smile. The room smelled of cigarettes but you get used to it. The TV did not work. My room was not cleaned but the cleaners ledt me one new set of towels. I was told by a different front desk agent that room cleaning is upon request. I was not privvy to that so that's why my room didn't get cleaned. But if that's the case, why did they come in at all and leave towels? I did not request anything. My bed was squeeky. The pool was closed. The breakfast is a nice thought. Grab and go style was perfect. The mini store in these hotels are super convenient. Ample parking. Aside from the few issues, the room served its purpose.
