InterContinental Hotel offered me a room upgrade and I accepted but when I arrived at the hotel I wasn't given the room that i was offered and due to lack of room/beds my family wasn't accommodate and due to the Magnificent Mile parade hotel was completely booked. I asked if we can have a rolled out bed but was declined. So unfortunately we didn't have the best experience yesterday and very upset

The hotel was nice, but its location next to a very busy hospital is a major issue. Ambulances can be heard all night long, and the noise is constant. If you are even slightly a light sleeper, this hotel is absolutely not for you.

The room looked clean at first, but early this morning I turned on the lamp and saw a cockroach climbing on the wall behind the headboard. It was very uncomfortable to wake up to that, especially so close to the bed. I was on Floor 16.
