Overall the stay was good! The towels are very small for adults so Iâd recommend bringing your own if you can. Otherwise the stay worked well for what we needed!
Overall we had a great stay for our family of 5. Easy access, very convenient for visiting the city as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
The space was clean and beds comfortable. The bathrooms could use some updating with tub and vanity space but were clean. Need to upgrade bath towels as they were pretty thin and small. The only real complaint is not being proactive on weather to have walkway to unit shoveled and salted. It was pure ice over an inch thick and quite dangerous to get to unit with children and luggage. The owner did respond and salt was put down first day which helped but after 5 inches of snow that evening walkway was again very icy and dangerous with such a narrow pathway. This should have been cleaned and salted Sunday morning. The only other suggestion is a rug at entry especially with snow and ice. It was difficult to not get water on floors with nothing in entry to wipe off boots and shoes. We would rent again as was very convenient to family and friends, but hope the owner takes consideration of suggestions.
The kitchen is minimally, equipped for cooking a big meal, but worked fine for our needs. We were in usually after dinner so we did make use of the television area. The only thing we might recommend is why do you say heâs your friend? How do you know that more lighting, be provided in the living room area such as a floor lamp or table lamps the can lights were a little harsh and all had to be on or off in order to regulate good lighting.
Had a nice midweek girls' trip to celebrate my mom's birthday. Plenty of space for the 3 of us to spread out, make food in the kitchen, work at the table and use the TV. Separate rooms (and comfy beds!) for those who snore or sleep in was a plus. Also having 2 bathrooms! Liked the neighborhood, easy to get around Chicago and Lincoln Park from there via car, go to the grocery store. We reserved 2 different parking spots in the neighborhood as there was snow coming, and we didn't want to be caught off guard with street parking and plowing rules. Everything was clean and functional and suited our needs. If you are looking for something more designer or high end, this may not be the rental for you. But if you need something functional for a group of people, it fits the bill nicely. Would stay here again.
Amazing home! My family stayed there for 10 days and they had a great time. It it's really close to the train station too. The owner was responsive and they fixed a couple of the issues we had quickly!
Great location to meet up with friends in Lincoln Park. Free street parking was convenient. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment with the kitchen and living room in the middle, so it was nice to spread out and have your own space. The apartment was very clean. Check in was easy and communication was very responsive. Front bedroom had some street noise from Diversey, but not horrible. Overall, highly recommend.
The neighborhood sells itself. From Batter & Berries for breakfast to late nights at Delilahâs there is plenty to do around the area. Some really great food options as well and the lakes are only a short few minutes away. The house itself is clean and provides the necessities. It was nice to have so many beds and two bathrooms. The rooms are on opposite sides of the house which was really nice. The kitchen was great and had what we needed. It was great to have the washer and dryer as well. The living room couches are different than shown in the pictures and arenât all the comfortable but did the job. Overall it was an awesome stay and we plan to go back next year!
The kitchen is nice and big. There was plenty of space for the seven of us, six adults and one teenager. We liked having two bathrooms and the in unit washer and dryer was nice if you need to do some laundry. The water was dripping in one bathroom and one of the hooks was very loose in that it came off the wall. We were able to hang the hook back and were careful not to knock it off again. In the same bathroom, a piece of porcelain in the tub was chipped off and looked rusty; this made the bathtub look rundown and old. Otherwise, the bathroom looks updated. The initial towels they gave us were thin and cheap and not enough for all of us. I messaged Dan for more towels and after some back and forth, more towels that were thicker and better quality were dropped off. We did have to park several blocks away at night and metered parking is available in front but not for an extended period. Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable stay.
Dan was great! Answered all of my questions promptly. The house was in a good part of town and right next to a pizza place. We had a great time in Chicago
Very clean, safe neighborhood, good parking options nearby, and great access to public transit!! I would absolutely recommend this place for trips to the city! Great location for all things Chicago!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. I had a bunch of guys stay here for some Cubs game over a weekend and it was a easy straight shot walk to Wrigley field. I recommend this property!
Very clean, fully stocked with kitchen utensils and linens, great communication and superb location. Use Spot Hero for a reserved parking space within a block of property.
The suite was a great setting for my husband, myself and 3 adult children. Enough space and bathrooms for us. Also the location was a wonderful spot- the middle of everything, with easy access to traspotation.
Property was clean, check in instructions were clear, and it was close to the brown/purple line. Property had minimal amenities, but it worked for our stay.
