Family friendly home in safe, historic neighborhood
We had a wonderful stay! We loved this beautifully decorated home. We especially loved the welcoming front porch, the walkability (it was within walking distance to many places in town), the provided puzzles and games! We will definitely be booking another stay!
This was a great listing for families. There is a park across the street. And the library and an additional park just down the street (less than .5 miles).
Great place to stay for our conference in Oak Park. It was a great home in a beautiful neighborhood, and the owner communicated promptly throughout the process.
This is a hidden gem. We absolutely loved our stay. The home is adorable and extremely welcoming! We were in Chicago for our daughterâs graduation and this beautiful home was perfect for all of us. Thank you for having us.
We (three married couples with 1 adult daughter) had such a lovely time in this home. We spent a lot of time on the front porch reading, talking, and watching the world go by. Fun food within walking distance, and the can't miss Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Museum.
This was my first time booking here and it was amazing. The host was quick to communicate, and everything was smooth and easy to do. Definitely will book here again the next time my family is in town.
You canât go wrong with the neighborhood we lived there 9-12 years ago. The house has been maintained Very well. The hosts were very gracious Overall, great place. My kids were well adjusted and the weather was perfect.
Great house with old world charm in a nice neighborhood. The property manager was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that all the bed rooms are upstairs, but there is only one bathroom upstairs and the other is downstairs. Overall, great stay.
We had a lovely stay for 5 nights in this home in a beautiful neighborhood. It was the right size for 5 adults and 2 infant and we were able to walk to restaurants, parks, and the Frank Lloyd Wright museum. Communication was excellent and immediate. Thank you.
The house was everything we had hoped it would be and more. My wife and me, along with our four adult children were in town for a funeral. We couldnât have been more pleased with the cleanliness and accommodations than we were. It was perfectly comfortable and relaxing considering the stress that attending a funeral can bring.
5 star all the way. Great home, plenty of room, clean, spacious and beautiful! The neighborhood is wonderful; close to restaurants, shopping, train, etc. Gracious host with speedy replies to questions. Our family had a restful, fun, family weekend. Thank you!
The house is very charming and we had a wonderful time all being together, and celebrating my niece who was having a baby shower in Chicago. The host was very responsive and helpful with great restaurant suggestions. My sister left an important package behind and the host made sure to retrieve it and mail it back to her. Overall, great experience and would stay again.
It was a lovely house very cute. Had a lot of character loves how much space we got plenty of rooms for our whole family. Beautiful neighborhood very well kept property so charming little downtown walkable right next to the Frank Lloyd Wright Museum. But more importantly for us, it was close to family. This was a wonderful location to see all of our family in Chicago. We will definitely be staying here again. And there was a cute family of bunnies that kept popping up every night that we see in the front lawn.
Wonderful experience all the way around! We hope to book this house again sometime this summer!
Best experience- I was a little leery being only the second guest but glad to have taken a leap of faith. The bedding is very comfortable & fresh. Coming & going was very easy with the electronic lock box. We came in for a funeral for my aunt & were thrilled to have been able to stay in the neighborhood that my mom & aunt grew up in. Lots of memories & love - we love Oak Park, IL!
