Rented a room here for 4 nights for Navy graduation. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was very spacious, it had a small kitchenette. It was comfortable, beds were ok but All of the furniture was very old and could be replaced. Couch was small and old, very dirty. Walking in, one of the toilets was dirty and it had been used and not flushed, was pretty gross, #2, which made me believe the unit as a whole was not cleaned very well. That didn’t set at a good tone. The day after we arrived the exit door which was closest to our room stopped working. We could not get in with our cards. Eventually someone put tape on the door handle so the door would open and cards weren’t needed. Didn’t seem very safe, but the door was usable. We had a room on Waukegan Rd side of the motel, a very busy, main road. We could hear every car driving by, which made sleep difficult. Nice view of an Amazon building out the window.
Overall it was ok for as much time as we spent in it, we explored Chicago and surrounding towns a lot. It’s close to beaches of Lake Michigan, very close to a lot of food options. Walmart was close as well. Very good location, and the rooms are spacious.
