We took a trip from AB to BC and were lucky enough to stop in at the Windsor. Though all of the 20+ hours of travel which included 5 stays, The Windsor was the best hands down. The renovations are BEAUTIFUL, the water pressure was phenomenal and the room was clean. I would pick the Windsor time and time again. We look forward to our next trip to Hope, BC and will be staying at the Windsor.
The comfiest bed and spacious room.
Don’t let the outside deter you it’s so beautiful.
The view is unbelievably stunning.

Wonderful Stay in a Renovated Room! I recently stayed at the Windsor Hotel in Hope, BC, and had a fantastic experience. Our room was spacious and completely renovated — everything felt fresh and new, from the carpet and furniture to the bed and A/C. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful, with a brand-new shower that had great water flow, soft white towels, and full toiletries provided. We also appreciated the modern kitchenette, which came equipped with all the essential tools. It really made the stay feel comfortable and convenient. We truly enjoyed the room and the overall atmosphere — it was spotless, quiet, and thoughtfully updated. If I travel to Hope again, I’ll definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

Mid renovation

This property is in the middle of undergoing renovations. Our room and common areas were mostly done, but the exterior looks a bit unsightly in its current state. The new fixtures are nice (air conditioning works great) but, some of the finishes of the renovations lack a certain professional quality. The interior common areas could be cleaner (dust present and windows need cleaning). The check in host was very friendly. The park across the street is lovely.

Don’t let the exterior put you off

Don’t let the exterior make you pass this one. They are in the process of updating the property. The room was very good and recently updated, the outside looked like Rambo had just shot it up. But really they were in the process of updating the exterior.

very understated from the outside, I did not know what to expect. but I was on my home to Alberta and just needed a place to sleep. while the outside is definitely underwhelming the rooms are fantastic and the bed super comfortable. I would stay again on my travels through.

The property looks normal outside but the inside is amazing! It’s so clean and the beds are so cozy! Can’t believe it’s a motel at this price. The restaurant nearby is amazing too! Delicious brunch and ice cream and signature ice Latte. A must go place if you stop at Hope for a night.

Newly renovated in downtown location

Our room was completely renovated with very modern bath and a very comfortable King bed. Staff was great and the hotel is located centrally in the town across from a beautiful park and close to shops and restaurants. Lovely parkette with seating on the Fraser River is 2 blocks from the hotel, an easy walk. Hope is a beautiful town, ringed by high mountains, very scenic. Hotel has parking at the front door and in rear. We would definitely stay here again!

We appreciated the clean room and friendly Staff. We had 2 chairs on our deck when we arrived. We went out and found only one chair on the deck when we returned. Who was in our room and how was the chair removed? This does raise a security concern.

Room was newly renovated (small things such as exterior trim etc were still being worked on) but it was a lovely bathroom with a great rain shower. Easy check in and very walkable neighborhood. Bed is very firm and solid, which was a big plus in my books (wasn’t a fan of the big fluffy pillows but that’s just me). Opted for the second floor and was able to sit on the balcony, overlooking our parking spot, looking towards the park.
