Self contained studio in Cass Bay (Christchurch's best kept secret!) with amazing hill views (sea glimpses only from the studio), beautiful harbour views from the gate and 200m to the beach! Cosy king sized bed, luxury bathroom, incredible bath with hand-made bath bomb waiting for you & mini kitchenette. The perfect place to relax! Private & quiet. Access coastal walkways & the beach via a private track. 5 mins from Lyttelton & 20 mins from the center of town. Light breakfast included.
Relax, unwind & recharge whether you are a Christchurch local looking for a beach get away or from out of town. Perfect for summer or a cosy winter escape.

We require all guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please send us verification of this in your booking message.

Mini kitchenette includes- fridge, microwave, jug, large bench space, no sink. Large luxury bathroom includes- incredible deep bath, shower, vanity & toilet. Small private courtyard with hill views complete with table & chairs. A light continental breakfast is included for each morning of your stay. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate (& marshmallows of course), milk, cereals & fruit are provided. The studio is located on the ground floor of our home & is a totally separate quiet & private unit.

PLEASE NOTE There is a stone path way & 8 stairs to access the studio as we are on a hill site so our studio maybe not suitable for you if you have mobility challenges.

Beautiful Cass Bay

Welcoming hosts, quick response to email enquiry via contact host service. Lovely bathroom. Short distance from the shore and a short walk to some lovely swimming beaches.

A gem of a place

A gorgeous place to stay. Warm, clean, modern, and stylishly decorated. Lovely breakfast provided too. Very handy to Lyttleton and an easy drive into Christchurch city. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful away from the stress of the city but not to far away,

I would go back, amazing bath, everything you could possibly want for a relaxing weekend, only fault was no TV, I didn't mind but my partner did lol.

Lovely Spot

The location is great - the walks from the retreat were lovely. Overall the place was clean but no pillow protectors were used which is not hygienic, there was no cover over the mattress base, and the sheets were thin and didn't quite cover the mattress - I think they are just too small. We were a bit surprised to find this as the photos looked great. The tiny fan heater was the only heating supplied, so the room stayed quite cold. We didn't receive any instructions for check in so we sent the owner a few messages throughout the day with our updated arrival time- on text and through bookabach, but didn't get a response. We arrived at night and nobody was home - everything was locked up and we had no keys. We sent another message through the app then finally got in touch with the owner and were given the lock box code.

Overnight stay

We stayed one night here while in chch doing errands. It was clean, tidy, and warm. Lovely bath which was a real treat! This place was perfect for somewhere to crash. Lovely area with the pretty bay and boats.
