The staff were great but the rooms although a little dated were very clean. Overall a good stay. Well located for transport into the city and shops and the prices are good .Sure beats the hell out of the Auckland city VR hotel.

We stayed for 6nights (pre-booked and paid for along with a room for our daughter and family). The bedding was the main issue in both rooms...certainly not comfortable nights as suffered from rolling together and also feeling slightest movement by partner. Motel certainly needs to invest in some new beds!. Our daughters room had a bed for their son...not even a full size single. Rooms (we were in 6) very noisy...road noise audible as a background hum much of the time and could hear neighbours walk around their rooms and every toilet flush. TV would loose its network connection and we had to relog in (enter password etc) several times. One of the least comfortable motel stays we've had.

Had an enjoyable stay, comfy and clean. Friendly staff at reception. We didn't have a booklet in room about local eateries or things to do. Is the room supposed to have netflix or sky? no booklet to say otherwise. But would come back again.
