Very well built, and well appointed large home, right on the water. Full front on view of Buck Island and the interesting surf patterns in front of it. Fully equipped kitchen, including a high capacity icemaker. Enjoyed the tastefully done turtle theme! The pool was also a standout feature. We owned a home on St. Croix for several years and come pretty much yearly. Their cisternal water system is very well done and maintained. I typically buy water unless I control that, but did not feel the need. The water quality was great!A “contactless“ check-in system was better in theory than fact. It was no problem to drive up to the house, but then found out we were locked out. Because of delayed travel, it was both dark and raining. Spotty Verizon coverage impaired the ability to contact the property manager. We drove back to a place with cell phone coverage, were able to make contact and eventually work around an inadvertently locked mechanical lock, in addition to an electronic lock. I was assured this was a one off problem, and see no reason to doubt that. We also discovered that the front yard has Verizon coverage, while the backyard is intermittent, as an FYI.In spite of a poor check in experience, an overall really good experience.
