I have NEVER wrote a review, good or bad for anything but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had staying at a hotel and we are frequent travelers. 1.The side doors from the outside of the hotel DO NOT LOCK, making us feel unsafe. 2.The pool door DID NOT LOCK. My 2 year old could have opened the pool door. She could have easily ran in there on her own. 3.To save money they turn off the lights in the pool and don’t turn them on unless you ask them to. 4.As soon as you walk into the room there is an awful musty smell and they do not have the air turned on. If we didn’t bring our own fan to help circulate the air it wouldn’t have been cool enough in there until the next morning when we were ready to leave. 5.My 2 year old wouldn’t even eat their eggs at breakfast they were so bland. 6.The shower was so disgusting. There were black splatter spots on the wall and I could have sworn it was a stain and there was no way it could come off. It wiped right off, I don’t think they clean the showers. 7.The toilet paper holder was barely attached to the wall. 8.The tv remote was broken 9.The complimentary water was absolutely disgusting. I thought I was drinking straight chemicals. It’s definitely not filtered. 10.The carpet and the couch in the room were also musty and just gross.

Room was clean. Staff was polite. Outlet by bed was not working, so everone was scrambling to find a place to charge electronics after a full day at Kings Island. Breakfast was quick to run out before staff could restock and congested for crowd size, but food was okay. Good place to lay your head for the night.

I have stayed in many Comfort Inn properties over many years. Unfortunately, this particular property is by far the one that least exceeded my expectations given the specs given. The property is frankly dirty- from the rooms to the exterior.

It was off season, so the rate was good and the building was quiet. I was able to sleep in peace. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety. It was just confusing figuring out the coffee set up because the cups aren’t next to the coffee machine. But overall, I was very happy with my stay.
