Property was super convenient for our stay in Cincinnati for our Letterheads reunion at the American Sign Museum - some pictures attached. Definitely a place to visit if you are in Cincinnati. While we werenât at the property for more than sleeping, the vibe was amazing, and the check in and check out process was stellar. Also recommended are eats in the Gaslight district. Thank you for hosting us.
Staying in a predominantly college rental area is pretty fun and interesting for a 50 yo couple. We were in town to visit our son at UC. Parking is a nightmare but thatâs more a function of the city than the property. Very utilitarian, no frills but I liked it as the same.
The loft was perfect, a great space and it was a good neighborhood thatâs walkable to all of University of Cincinnatiâs amenities (food, entertainment). It was clean and exactly what I needed this quick weekend!
Nice place - as advertised! As per other reviews, this is very near UC and parking is quite tight. We were lucky to find a parking spot on the street when we checked in, but did not move our vehicle all weekend for fear we would not find another spot in close proximity. Only other negative I would mention is that there was a live band at a residence/party located right behind us on the second night of our stay that was very loud and played very late into the night. Other than that, it was great location, very clean and neat place to stay near our UC senior.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and roomy. They even had a foam mattress for the futon. Upstairs was a bit hot even with the fan on. Venting might help if doable. We put the fan downstairs and blew the cold air up vs keeping fan upstairs to blow heat around. Loved the extra half bath, nice and cool downstairs. There was coffee but were no coffee filters. We borrowed a few from a neighbor. Parking was tight especially at night so we parked on another street. Great amenities and cute place. Thank you for accommodating us.
Upon arrival at the property as is listed it is street parking. The parking in the neighborhood is very tight and if you do not have a compact vehicle and are a skilled parallel parker - you may need to look for a different option. On Saturday night we had to move the car as we were going to an event quite far away. We ended up parking in a city lot at Findlay Market and Ubering back and forth to the rental.
The front door lock is complicated - I would suggest arriving when light out and you have time to work on the lock. It does lock automatically once you're inside so that is nice.
The property is as photographed in the listing.
The listing also notes that there is a spiral staircase. It is about 17" wide - I am a women's size 10 and had to shimmy up - if you have mobility issues or are heavier - this would be something to greatly consider.
While at the property we had to sleep downstairs on the futons the first night because it was 80 degrees in the loft with the bed. The host did bring a fan over the next day. After it cooled down in the loft we were able to sleep in the second day. There was also a lot of extra bedding for the futons in the bathroom.
There's nothing really "wrong" with the property it just isn't very comfortable or warm/welcoming feeling.
The management company did give a 30 % refund on our nightly stay rate because of not being able to utilize the bedroom the first night and some other inconveniences.
Super cute and comfy stay. Close to UC witch was perfect since i traveled there for my sisters graduation. Clean home with just the right amount of space. I donât Montessori my stay.
