I am always unsure of property that I book in fear of areas, however upon arriving at the Summit house, entering and the entire stay was very pleasant, if it had not been for the tournament purpose we were there for, we would have really enjoyed the entertainment the home had to offer, highly recommended.

Great Cincinnati getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, older home. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious. We lovely hanging out on the decks and there was a coffee shop, convenience store and restaurant within walking distance. We appreciated the guidance from our host who offered suggestions for downtown options and appreciated the timely responses to our questions. We opted to use bus transportation as well and it was easy and nearby. Overall, it was a successful trip for us to visit the city as well as enjoy the house's amenities.

Spacious house in quiet neighborhood, amazing experience!

We absolutely loved the house! It was perfect for our family and had ample bathrooms and bedrooms to accommodate our family. We loved the game and theater room, the decor was so cool! Incredible views of the city from the top balcony and really nice patio furniture on both decks. Communication was excellent and she gave us several recommendations on restaurants. This house had everything we could’ve wanted in a vacation property! Would 10/10 recommend staying here!

Grandchildren vacation/Family reunion

We had a wonderful stay and just the right size house for my family!! The game /movie room were perfect for the grand children. Although, we sent a lot of time away from the house when we returned we felt really comfortable. I was able to save money by fixing them a delicious breakfast every morning. When we needed assistance the response time was quick and everyone had such a beautiful spirit. I have never met them personally, but I am blessed to have selected this house for our vacation home. Dirty, cheap and overpriced

The floor was so dirty that after showering and walking to the bed to put socks on, my feet were disgusting. There was a dirty sock under my son's bed. Cleaning gloves were left in the main bedroom. Basically, the place was filthy. This is funny considering how much they charge for cleaning. Most all of furniture was cheap to the point of being uncomfortable, this includes the mattresses. I get not having the most expensive things, but... They also force you to pay for items to be replaced if broken, but the foosball table and air table table and any number of other things were damaged to the point of being basically useless. They aren't using the money they're charging to keep the place in good repair. We had a good time in Cincinnati and plan to go back. But we won't be staying here again.

Excellent hosts!

I can’t say enough about the service from this host. The local manager texted when we arrived to make sure everything was satisfactory and again the next day in case anything came up overnight. Very professional. We had no issues while staying. The house is an OLD Victorian. Don’t expect newer resort quality. You have to appreciate the charm and character this place has and the attention given to the little amenities left to make your stay better. Look past cracks, squeaks, broken trim, etc. The owners decorated it with proper charm. The view of the city is beautiful at night. Only concern is the location. It’s “OK” and I would say safe. I wasn’t afraid to stay there, so don’t misread the comment. A block over was concerning at night. There are two convenient stores with some interesting gatherings. The deli and ice cream businesses were quality and walkable.

Great place to stay

We had a great time at this rental. It was very large, so perfect for a big family or multiple families coming to stay. For an old house, it was well maintained and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and we actually slept great, which is hard to find when you're not at home. It was super nice having Red's corner store within a few seconds walk and we looveeeddd walking to get ice cream just 2 blocks away. This house isnt directly downtown, but it's a quick drive and a cheap Uber ride to town, as well. The neighborhood is up and coming, so there are a few vacant homes and not as well kept houses nearby. The view at the house is so nice and the host was very responsive/proactive in reaching out. Overall, we would stay here again.

Great House for Xavier Graduation

Close and comfortable

At a wedding in downtown Cincinnati. Great location. This is an old urban neighborhood - with everything you would expect. The house is great for a family with lots of little extras like coffee and robes and a movie room.

The interior of the home was fantastic. Lots of amenities, lots of things to do on a rainy day. Space enough for a big family. The property manager was easy to communicate with. The exterior requires some attention as do the properties on either side of the home. For me and my family, location is key. We like to get out and explore by walking. For us, this location was not key.

Loved the house and convenience of location. Deli, BLOC coffee shop and Incline Public House nearby with great food! Great views! Some construction nearby and some houses nearby need a lot of TLC but gentrification is happening. Host and local host were great! Would stay again.

Proximity is great. Great view. Issues, though.

Pros: Proximity! Close to EVERYTHING! The view of the city is incredible! The beds and sheets were very comfortable. Cons: House could use a deep clean. There were smashed bugs on the cabinets and walls. The counters and table had crumbs and dried food. There were wiped boogers on the wall of the downstairs bathroom. There was a giant wad of hair in walk-in shower. No cleaning supplies to address issues. The telescope, which is pictured in listing, doesn't work--misleading. There was a power surge the last night we were there--don't plug in too much stuff, I guess. We lost power to half the house the last 24-hours we were there--including the movie projector and PS4. The host contact did buy pizza for us, but got the order wrong (left off 1 pizza), but did find a vegan option for us. The neighborhood is a little "sketchy". Listing says 1000's of channels, but renters must sign in under their own streaming accounts--same with PS4, it did have 3 available games. Overall, we had fun, but we would not stay here again.

Great city night lights and perfect for family fun

Great communication with owner, any issues we're addressed with haste. Owner gave alot of extras such as pop, pop corn, teas, hot chocolate, which all my family loved. Even provided washing tabs and softener sheets. Didn't notice the basket of complimentary socks at the door until we were checking out. Everything we we're looking for was within miles of the house including kings island. Also there is a splash pad a few blocks away from the house that's connected to a park. Kids loved it.

Nice older home in mature neighborhood

We had a host cancel our reservation a day before our arrival, and VRBO worked with this host to get us into this property at the last minute. We were very thankful, and check in was very easy. It is in an older, well maintained, urban neighborhood. the rooms are on the 2nd or 3rd floors of the house which was difficult for 2 of our party due to recent surgery. we would stay here again
