Stunning hillside escape w/private infinity pool

The farmhouse “Gello” in the tuscan hills, is located in an area rich of history and natural beauty. Gello is a certified organic farm with 43 hectares of primary forest and olive groves.
The house was originally a watchtower overlooking the trove valley and the village of civitella in val di chiana located on the opposite hill. Restoration of the building was completed using only original materials, with  respect considering that gello dates back at least 600 years.
The house can accommodate 5 people.
The house has four bedrooms, three upstairs (one with private bath, and two that share a bathroom) and a single with private bathroom on the ground floor.
Also on the ground floor are the kitchen, dining area, and living room with a large wood burning fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher.
Surrounding the home is a beautiful garden with a pergola under which you can dine with the scents of herbs.
A salt water infinity pool frames the view west.

A chef service and home cooking courses are available upon request

Beautiful, tranquil, Tuscan farmhouse in a magical setting with great views and a good pool.

Gello near Civitella in Val di Chiana is a great base from which to explore and enjoy Tuscany. For sightseers and art lovers, Arezzo, Badia a Coltibuono, Sansepolcro, Sienna, Cortona, Monterchi, Monte San Savino, Florence and San Gimigniano are all within an hour's drive with their awe-inspiring piazzas, frescoes, churches, galleries, stories ... There are amazing Tuscan restaurants serving delicious meals with the kind of mouthwatering dishes and fresh off the farm ingredients that you just can't find elsewhere: cheese, pear and truffle soufflé; chicken liver and fig pate; beef tagliatelle with wasabi. Or you can just chill by the beautifully realised infinity pool and watch the sun go down as the swallows swoop above the cypress trees while in the oak woods beneath the deer and wild boar go foraging. Gello is a truly peaceful, inspirational, magical place.

Gello is heaven on earth!

What a beautiful home. The architecture is spectacular, the view from the Infiniti pool is gorgeous and if heaven has a scent, it smells like the area outside this home- lavender, sage, rosemary and lemon thyme. Stay here if you can! Day trips to the Tuscany hill towns will be worth the ride.
