We had a good time at the house with family and friends, but the cleaning services was very poor.
The toilet paper was not supplied at all. They left the house with some used roles in the bathrooms.
We called the office and they couldn't deliver. Next day had to drive to the office to get it. Got very limited amount ( only 3 roles for 20 people) promised $75 credit and never got it.
So sad and stressful.
Our large family (18 ) had a vacation to Whistler planned last summer but Covid restrictions kept us from that location both years. In order to use our airline tickets to Seattle, we researched areas near Seattle to visit this summer. We located Suncadia and this property. The property (and Suncadia) provided us w/ an ideal vacation w/ activities for all the ages we needed to accommodate. The property was clean and cool (hot weather) and reasonably well set up w/ kitchen utensils etc. Check in was a disaster and was not accomplished until 8p.m. on the day that we traveled in from Nebraska. Once that was accomplished we were treated extremely well by the manager for the rest of the week. They responded immediately to all our requests. A very good stay and a great vacation.
This property fit a multi-family party well & the rooms are nicely laid out. The only downside is that the house itself has a mouse problem. The property manager was very responsive (the remotes did not have batteries & we did need a little lesson on how to keep the exterior doors locked), but the cleaning team he scheduled never came by to clean the kitchen. (The silverware drawer was full of mouse droppings.) They did offer to comp a service at the spa for the inconvenience but our departure preceded that, unfortunately.
One important note: this property DOES have access to the spa & pool (our name was misspelled on an intake sheet at the pool and we almost didnât get inâhappily that got sorted too, and the kids really enjoyed their time!). Many properties require an owner to accompany people. Just keep that in mind if youâre assuming your rental will work with the amenitiesâif itâs not through Suncadia it might not.
All in all, weâd return ... but the mouse problem should be taken care of ahead of other rentals (some broken/sharp items in the garage should be tossed too, as the toys out there will attract kids and the two donât mix).
Worked great. Back sidewalk had a short step that everyone kept tripping on. Told them and they addressed it right away and marked it with reflective tape. Would be nice if the main rec center/ pool stayed open past 8pm. Seems a little early to close down. Other than that it was fantastic
The garage thatâs turned into a game room was great for the young kids! Spacious rooms and very comfortable beds! The resort staff and shuttle drivers were all great! Not being able to park on the street was the only downside. Having to park at the lodge and shuttle to the house was a bit inconvenient but the friendly shuttle drivers made it ok.
