First and foremost our hostess was very quick to respond with any questions that we had prior to our check in and also during our stay. She resolved any issues we had. We had beautiful views on the property. The highlight of the trip was the catch and release pond. Plenty of space on the property for children to play and explore. Plenty of seating all over the property. Gaming garage had plenty of activities to entertain any and all guests. Only down side was that it was not insulated or had ac so it was pretty hot in there with the Texas heat; which was in the description of the booking. Some things to consider is the houses could have used more attention to being cleaned. I.e. bathrooms had dirty walls and floors had stains. Kitchen utensils could use some upgrading but we made do. And as well as the outdoor areas having spider webs and wasp nests. Pool water wasnât completely clear upon check in. But it was the perfect sized pool to play pool volleyball. Spent hours playing in there. For the price of the property it was worth the money. Definitely memories were made.
We had an amazing long weekend The Rove at L5. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We had 5 families and 21 people total. There was so much to do especially for the teenagers and kids. Hours were spent swimming, playing pool volleyball, basketball, ping pong, fishing and a night time game of hide and seek plus a talent show on the stage. The property had everything we could need. It is so spacious. The fresh flowers and homemade cake were a surprise and so thoughtful too. We would definitely stay there again.
Amazing!! We loved every minute of our stay! We had our Family Reunion at the Rove! We enjoyed the multiple houses, pool, pond and wide open spaces!! And the host was outstanding!! Great place
Awesome venue and a great host. Responsive to messages. And no complaints about our stay. It was great for all ages. We had infants all the way up to adults and everyone had a great time. The views are beautiful!Only about 5 minutes from small grocery stores and about 20 minutes from a good sized HEB.
Awesome property! We had 4 generations staying for a few days to relax, enjoy each other's company, and eat. We've been all over Texas the last 15 years and this place was top notch.Pool and party garage were a hit. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, and private location (yet easy to find).Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.
We had a family reunion at the ranch and we totally enjoyed it. The owners were very informative and kept in touch with us right up until our stay. even afterwards they reached out. I would definitely recommend this property and anyone looking for a large family retreat.
We had a wonderful time. It had all we needed for adults and teens. A great layout, fully stocked kitchen and beautiful views!! Definitely recommend and we will be back! Brandi was extremely responsive and the checkin process was easy!!!
This was my group's third time staying at The Rove at L5. Like previous stays/reviews, we were very pleased with the property. One thing I can add this year is that it ii obvious that they are investing money into this property. There were some upgrades that were noticed by my group. Also, my caterer backed out at the last minute. The property manager, Brandi, gave me some recommendations that saved the day. I have found her to always be responsive and helpful.
Amazing property. Very quiet and private. Felt right at home. Would highly recommend this for family events or any event where you're hosting a large group.
Family met here the weekend before Christmas from all over Texas and Missouri. Beautiful countryside. All of the houses were clean and immaculate just as described. Plenty of room for 21 of us.You wonât be disappointed
This was an amazing property with a lot of space. We had a house for parents, a house for the bridesmaids, and a house for the groomsmen. Perfect place to host a rehearsal dinner before the most amazing wedding! Would highly recommend for family reunion. Brandi was easy to work with and prompt to respond to any questions.
This house was perfect for our son and daughter in laws wedding party. They were all able to stay together and really enjoy the weekend with their friends.
I recently rented the Rove at L5 for my womenâs discipleship intensive. The property was wonderful for our group of 15 women. We had an ample amount of room and never felt overcrowded and the multiple indoor living areas gave us several options where we could gather as a group.
Each space is thoughtfully decorated with colorful, modern furnishings and a variety of seating in the living rooms. All of the bedrooms also had a place to sit for reading which was nice for our individual quiet time. The bedrooms were well appointed with plush linens and comfortable mattresses and pillows. We didnât utilize the upstairs sleeping rooms of the pool house, but they would be great for kids as the beds are in box platforms on the floor. Each bathroom was outfitted with contemporary finishes and full-size toiletries and had excellent water pressure. The fact that each building has its own refrigerator, coffee maker, kitchen and laundry facilities was convenient for us.
Godâs creation was on full display outside, with the beautiful trees, pond, hardscaping, fields, sunrises and sunsets. Even the storm that blew in quickly was a sight to behold!
Brandi was very responsive and attentive both before and during our stay and the few issues we had were resolved quickly. She also added some thoughtful touches like Sâmore supplies and fresh flowers in each of the houses, which were lovely.
I am grateful to Brandi and her family for the use of their space for this special event.
We celebrated our 50th anniversary at the rove with 40+ guest on Saturday and spent three nights there. I would definitely go again. It was perfect for our celebration. My family enjoyed the pool, lake and games. The ranch manager gave us a wonderful tour with the highlight of newborn piglets.
