This was just wonderful! The house is away from everything on a wooded property, beautiful area. We loved the seclusion. There are 2 houses on the property with the front house occupied by the hostâs parents. Very nice people. Lovable small dog, too! Bonus for dog pets and getting to feed the 2 horses. The house sleeps a lot of people, up to 8, but it was just the two of us, so plenty of room. There is one walk through bedroom downstairs which has a trundle bed in it but the bathroom downstairs is a half bath. This means that this is not the best property for someone who canât navigate stairs. There is a ramp to get into the house if needed. The kitchen really is fully equipped! We made 4 dinners there during our stay, with no issues. Plenty of pots, pans, serving dishes, mugs, glasses and various kitchen tools including a colander and a garlic press. We were very grateful for the food! The host left us eggs, bread, butter and milk. This saved us a trip to the grocery store. We also were given a gift of honey and maple syrup, always lovely to have. We were very comfortable at the house. Plenty of towels, bedding and extra blankets. Bathroom does not have a lot of counter space, but there was lots of space in the medicine cabinet for all my cosmetics. Heads upâif you have any tall guests in your party, be aware of your head going up the steep, narrow stairs. Safe but tight. 2 queen beds upstairs and trundle in hall. Great place, wonderful stay!
